Chapter 53: Gone (Part 3)

Madara's P.O.V

"Do you have any clue where they can be?" I asked the young Uchiha who was beside me.

We were running.

"We caught their trail.  We aren't far from them.  They are on the run." He said.

I stopped at a cliff and looked into the river bellow.

I stared at it for awhile.

"What's wrong Madara?" Hashirama asked.
"The river... It-"

"Ugh!" I clutched my chest and dropped to my knees.

Something doesn't feel right.

"Madara!" I Hashirama yelled.
"Yoshima..." I whispered as a picture of her came to mind.

"We need to get going, or we'll lose their trail." Tobirama said.
"We'll save Yoshima. Don't worry." Hashirama said giving me a light smile.

I forced myself up.

"Let's continue perusing them."

And we were on our way.

Kazumi's P.O.V

"You will meet Madara and try stall him." Shadow said taking Kuro from my arms.
"You want me to stay here?!"
"You wanted Madara.  I'm giving you him."  He said smirking.

Well that's what I really wanted.

"I guarantee Madara already knows I killed Mito, there's no point."
"This was the deal.  I'd make Madara yours.  He's yours now." Shadow said.

"I'm not going back on my word."

"If he sees me standing here, he'll immediately realize something suspicious.  Madara isn't stupid!" I said and he frowned.
"Do I look stupid to you?"
"Well...  A little."
"What?!"

"You idiot.  You haven't seen my full plan..." He said.
"What it is then?" I asked.

"Tell Madara I kidnapped you as well.  Tell him you witnessed Yoshima's death and you tried to stop me before I killed her, but you couldn't.  I fought you and left you to die, but lucky you didn't." He said and I gave him a confused look.

"That won't work."
"Yes it will." He said and kicked me hard.

I went through a couple trees and spat out blood.
Dammit!  I helped him and I get this.

"Don't think that I'm killing you.  You'll have Madara." He said smirking.

I got up to my feet as he placed Kuro on the ground away from the battle.

I felt lightning surround me, "Bastard.  If you continue acting like that, you'll have no one forever.  Madara acted like you once.  Revenge for the lost of his loved ones.  Once he changed, realized revenge wast the answer, he got Yoshima by his side, Hashirama, Tobirama, and Mito.  Later he had a nephew and now he has a son."

"Don't compare me to Madara!!!!"  He yelled and lunged towards me and I lunged towards him.

"DIE!" We both yelled.

Madara's P.O.V

"Kazumi!" I ran to her body on the ground with a bunch of cuts and bruises.

I placed her in my arms.

"What happened?!" I asked.
"Shadow...  H-He kidnapped me." She said.
"Where's Yoshima and Kuro?!"
"He has Kuro with him, but Yoshima...  He threw her body off a cliff into a river." She said and I felt my heart fall to my stomach.

That's why I felt that way. At that river!
He... He killed Yoshima!

I placed Kazumi down and got up.
I clenched my fist.

I punched a tree, "Yoshima..."

Kazumi got up and touched my shoulder, "Madara, I'm really sorry.."

I turned to her and gave her the most demonic glare and she jumped back.

"What?!" Tobirama yelled.
"I-I tried to stop him, but-"
"But nothing." Hashirama said grabbing her arm.

"H-Hey!  What are you doing?!" Kazumi yelled at him.
"You hurt my Mito.  We know you have been siding with him."

Her eyes widened.

"Kazumi..."
"M-M-Madara." I stared her in the eyes with my Mangekyou Sharingan.

Yoshima's P.O.V

"Gah!" I gasped for air as I was being pushed by the current.

Everything happened so fast.
I lost Madara.
Kuro is with the enemy.
Hashirama's gone.
As well as Tobirama and Mito.

Now it's my turn.

I realized I was heading for a waterfall.
I guess this is it.

Kuro.
I failed as your mother.
I let that guy take you.

I didn't my even put up a fight.
I'm weak and pathetic.

I started to fall. Fall off the waterfall.

And Madara...
I've failed as a wife, your friend.
How could I have let him kill you?

The good memories of Madara and I filled my mind.

I started to smile.

I really am happy that I fell in love with Madara.

I hit the water below.
