And then he turns and disappears behind a corner.

"Why you always lyin'?" Steve happily skips by the conference room as you and Natasha stare in shock.

"I hate you," Tony huffs. "Seriously."
"Sure. I know you're-"
"Stop fricking lying!"
"Steve!" You pick up a book off the lab table and chuck it at the door, missing Steve's smug face by a long shot.

"You're joking."
"This is no joke, (Y/n)."
"Well, whatever. I don't even care." You regret the words as soon as they leave your lips.
"Mm oh my god," Steve pops his head into the room. "Stop-"
"I'm going to kill you!" You growl, jumping up and sprinting after him.

Steve ends up with a black eye.
