Behind closed eyes,
I dream a world just for me,
Where the sky seems bluer and the sun seems brighter,
A whole little world trapped inside of my head,
For my eyes only,
And no-one else to see,
My own little escape,
From a world so full of hate,
A dream only i can dream,
One made for me,
Where the grass seems greener,
Where no-one has to fill the silence,
Because the silence is full of the answers,
That seem lost behind the noise that is reality,
The reality that now becomes nothing but a dream,
Behind closed eyes,
Where the truth doesn't want to be found,
And I've stopped looking.
