Chapter 34: Please wake up

Haileys POV:

Andy left and I walked into the bus. Ashley handed me a garbage bag and ran a hand through his hair. "He forgot this one." I nodded and took the bag from him. I walked to the dumpster and saw a horrific sight

I dropped the garbage bag and ran to Andys bloody mangled body on the cement. "ANDY!!" I screamed and heard myself echo in the distance. I knelt down next to him trembling and wiped blood off his forehead but it came back instantly. My heart dropped and I started crying

I pulled out my phone with my clean hand and called an ambulance. After giving them the address I called Jinxx crying. He picked up on the third ring

"Hello?"

"J-Jinxx... It's Andy." I stuttered

"I'm on my way." I nodded even though he couldn't see and hung up

I ripped a sleeve off my jersey and tied it around Andys head the best I could to try and stop the bleeding. He was much paler than before. His clothes were soaked in blood and his breathing was shallow. His chest barely rising. Jinxx ran over to me and knelt down next to me gently putting his around my shoulder. I leaned into him and just cried until the ambulance showed up. We got in with Andy on one of those ambulance bed things (don't know how to spell it) and left

We got to the hospital and they rushed Andy into a room. I got stopped by a nurse to fill out some papers. Jinxx had to help me since I was trembling and stuttering. Once that was done we got put in a waiting room. I had stopped crying and just stared at the floor with a blank expression. Jinxx had his arm around my shoulder comforting me but I was zoned out.

We sat there for what felt like a year but it was only a few hours until a doctor came out with papers. I shot out of my seat and ran over to him

"How is he? Will he be okay?" I played with my nails and Jinxx came over

"Well Mr. Biersack is VERY lucky to still be alive." He paused and my hopes rised. He's okay. "But there is major damage. He has a broken wrist, spinal injuries, a broken nose, a damaged rib; not broken just slightly bruised, internal bleeding which we stopped and a cracked skull." My heart dropped again

Jinxx hugged me and the doctor continued. "We had to do a few blood transfers and we stapled his skull. Other than that just a few minor cuts and bruises. He's now in a semi-coma stage. Meaning in a very deep sleep." I nodded slowly and tucked some hair behind my ear

"Can we... Can we go see him?" The doctor checked his papers and nodded

"He's down the hall, take a left and first door on the right." I nodded giving a quick thank you and sped walked to Andys room. Jinxx on my heels

We got to his room and I slowly opened the door. I took a deep breath in as I took in the sight. Andy lay in one of those hospital robes under the thin sheets of the bed. His skin was almost a white color and his chest barely moved. The heart monitor beeped every so often and needles were stuck in his arms. His head was wrapped in a bandage and I could see the bandage around his ribs. His wrist was in a black cast and his nose had a bandage on it

I sat next to the bed and Jinxx stood next to me. He gently squeezed my shoulder. "I'm going to call the guys, let them know what happened." I nodded and watched him leave the room. I grabbed Andys hand carefully and kissed it. I watched his chest rise and fall slowly for a few minutes

"Please wake up." I whispered. I kissed his hand again. Jinxx walked in putting his phone away

"The guys are on their way." I nodded and we sat there in silence just watching Andy. Soon there was a light knock on the door before it opened. Ashley and the guys walked in. Star was last and closed the door. I stood up and she hugged me

"He's okay Hail. He's going to wake up soon and hold you in his arms again. I promise." She whispered into my shoulder. I held her closer. She always knew what to say

Andys heart monitor sped up a bit and so did his breathing. I pulled away from Stars hug and watched as Andys eyes slowly fluttered open looking dazed. I sat back down and he slowly looked at us

"What're you all looking at? Do I have something on my face?" He tried smiling but strained. Probably from all the pain setting in

I gently grabbed his hand. "Do you remember what happened?" He thought for a moment and nodded

"I got ran over." I sighed and softly squeezed his hand. "I feel like shit." He looked at his body

"Well yeah you feel like shit. Everyone would if they just got ran over!" CC exclaimed with a small smile

Andys POV:

Wow, every muscle in my body felt like it was on fire and hurt. But I'd much rather deal with the pain than be dead. How am I going to finish tour?

"Hey guys, who's going to fill in for me for the rest of tour?" I asked. Everyone looked at each other thinking. Jake piped up

"Ashley could. He's done it before." He shrugged. Ashley nodded

"Yeah, Hailey could stay here with you so you're not bored and lonely." Star grabbed Ashleys hand. I nodded slightly and looked at Hailey

"What do you think?" She nodded

"Sounds good. The BVB army will understand." I nodded and laid back into the pillow. Hailey squeezed my hand and smiled at me. I smiled back weakly and closed my eyes

I was so tired and soar. I just wanted to sleep. I think everyone understood because I heard the room door open followed by shuffling footsteps. I felt a pair of soft warm lips on my forehead

"I'll be here when you wake up. I promise." Hailey whispered before leaving and closing the door behind her

Sleep over came me.
