Chapter 14: New looks

Haileys POV:

After messing around with Pierce The Veils performance and making Vic mess up on some of the lyrics, CC and I went back to the bus tired and sweaty. He ran straight for the fridge and stuck his head in it. I giggled and he handed me a water bottle. I thanked him and sat on the couch. After chugging the bottle, I played with my hair. I wanted to change it to something... Fun. I was think rainbow tips. (Image on side. Just imagine the blonde hair is black). I jumped up and grabbed my wallet. "Where's the nearest hair salon?" I asked whoever was listening. Andy walked in freshly showered and clean

"About a mile or so away, why? Gettin' your hair did?" I giggled at what he just said. I nodded and played with my hair again. He smiled. "I need to re-dye my hair too, roots are coming back in." I nodded and we walked out the bus door and out of the arena area. He held my hand the entire way. How cute! When we entered the small black and turquoise salon I was greeted by the smell of hairspray and a woman

"Hi there! What can I do for you two today?" She asked while picking up some papers. I looked at her and noticed her eyebrow piercing and lip ring. She was a bit on the heavy side but not to bad really. She wore all black and had fire truck red hair. Her name tag read 'Roxie.' I liked her. I smiled and nodded

"Yes, I would like my hair colored and the ends trimmed. He would like his hair colored too."

"And cut." He added. I looked at him curiously. He wants to cut his mane? Why? Everyone loves it, even me! He must have known what I was thinking because he smirked. "It's becoming a pain to take care of. Don't worry, I put a lot of thought into this." I nodded and Roxie lead us to two chairs with two ladies standing by them. We sat down and the lady I was with, her name tag read 'Amber', combed through my hair with her fingers

"So what am I doing for ya today?" She chewed her gum and spun me around to face the mirror

"First a trim, just the split ends, then bleach the tips and I was hoping to dye them rainbow. Oh and the rest of my head jet black." I smiled as she nodded turning me around again and leaning me back to wash my hair. I looked over at Andy who was already getting his hair washed deep in conversation with the salon lady. He pointed to his batman tattoo on his arm and I just smiled rolling my eyes. The water felt amazing and the soaps smelt like honey. I liked it. She sat me up combing through my hair again. She pulled out scissors and started cutting my ends

"So, who's the lucky fella over there that you walked in with? Brother? Best friend? Boyyyfriend?" She dragged on boyfriend and raised an eyebrow with a smile. I blushed slightly and smiled back

"Boyfriend. He's actually in a famous band."

"Oooo a rock star huh? Lucky lucky." I smiled more and glanced over at Andy. Huge clumps of hair lay on the floor around his chair with more falling. The salon lady pulled out a buzzer and started styling his hair. He was still in deep conversation with the lady. After Amber trimmed my hair, she blow dried it, pulled out hair dye and started mixing it in a bowl. Obviously the black first. She painted my hair with the black and wrapped it in tinfoil. Once that was in, she put me under a heater thing and I sat there for a while. I looked through a PEOPLE magazine and then the timer went off. Amber pulled me back to my original seat and took the tinfoil out and then washed my hair again. She pulled out the bleach and did my tips. I saw Andy sitting under the heater thing hiding his head behind a magazine. My phone went off and I pulled it to see Andy had texted me

A- Don't look yet, it's a surprise ;)

H- Fine:p but don't look at me either then

I put me phone away and Amber pulled out the colors. I was so excited. Maybe I should get a piercing too! I want a lip ring like Andys. Cute right? Right. Once the colors were in, I was done at the heater again and Amber rinsed my hair and blow dried it, she even teased it! She spun me around and I opened my eyes. My hair was black, tips started out red and ending with purple like a rainbow. "Oh my gosh I love it! It's perfect! Thank you so much." She took the sheet thing off me and I stood up to go pay.
