Chapter 61: Todays the day

Haileys POV:

I awoke in my bed to Andy opening the door holding a tray of delicious food. He's been way generous since last week and doing things for me. I sighed and sat up as he put the tray on my lap. He kissed my forehead and sat next to me. I just looked at my plate of food

I was not looking forward to today. Today was my surgery day. I took a bite out of some bacon and Andy ran a hand through his now longish hair. It wasn't as short but it wasn't as long as before either

"Todays the day. You ready?" I shook my head and finished the bacon. He grabbed my head and kissed my cheek. I smirked and finished the rest of the meal before changing into black yoga pants and a neon green baggy tank top. I left my hair down and did my usual makeup

Once I was ready, I walked downstairs to find everyone waiting at the door. Andy was outside in his car. All the guys gave me huge hugs and so did the girls. Stars was longer than everyone else's. I smiled and waved them goodbye

I got in the car and we drove off to the hospital. I was put into a robe, a bed and wheeled off to a room. Andy held my hand and a doctor walked in shortly after we were put in the room

"Ready? We'll put you under first and you won't feel a thing. You should wake up a few hours later." I nodded and a nurse put a mask over my mouth. Andy kissed my forehead and I was soon asleep

My eyes slowly fluttered opened and I was greeted by blinding light. I heard mumbling and some shadows appeared in my vision. Then it went quiet and the shadows disappeared. All but one. I rubbed my eyes slowly and my vision became clear

"Hey, how ya feelin'?" Andy asked. He was sitting next to me holding my hand. I hadn't even realized that he had my hand. I sighed and looked around

"Good." My throat was raspy and sounded weird. Andy nodded and handed me a small cup of water. I downed it and a doctor walked in

"Ah, you're awake. Well, the surgery was a success. You may leave tomorrow afternoon" I nodded and he left

I was then struck by pain.
