Chapter 38: Mystery lady

Jakes POV:

CC basically dropped all the blankets and pillows looking both ecstatic and worried about going to the bar. Something's up with him lately. He's constantly texting on his phone and is very distant when you talk to him. Could he be hiding something? Or maybe someone?

"Jake! Lets go." Hailey snapped me out of my thoughts and walked towards the door. I nodded and followed them closing the door after everyone got out of the room

We left the hotel and walked a few blocks to the bar. CC texting nearly the entire time. Hailey asked who he was texting and he said an old friend from school. Hmmm

The bar wasn't busy but it wasn't empty which is kind of good. Good because its not completely crowded and bad because there was somewhat of a line to get your drink. Not many people worked behind the bar tonight. Maybe 4. I wasn't paying much attention. I was focused on keeping an eye on CC

I kept a close eye on him most of the night but after a few shots, things became a bit blurry. I remember dancing, by that I mean swaying and jumping and fist pumping to random songs, and then I got hungry. What did I do? I stumbled out the back door thinking it was the front and saw two people not to far away from the door. I ducked down behind the dumpster and peeked out a bit at them. In my state of mind, I thought they were thugs or something. I quickly realized they weren't thugs but they were a couple

The two were in a full make out session. I looked away and a minute later I heard CC

"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that."

"Me too." I heard the mystery lady reply. I peeked out and saw they were closer to me now and in some light

The woman was near CCs height, skinny, had orange-ish hair that looked slightly blonde from where I sat and was very pretty. She grabbed CCs hands and he smiled like an idiot at her

"So how did the guys take it when you told them?" What did he need to tell us? CCs smile faded and he looked at the ground

"I was going to tell them tomorrow at the concert but it got delayed. I'm sorry baby." The woman tilted CCs head up and looked him in the eyes

"Can I come over tomorrow? Please? I want to actually meet these people and become friends with them." CC nodded and they kissed again

I stumbled back a bit and hit a trash can which fell over making a loud noise. CC and the woman came over and CC face palmed

"Well Lauren, this is one of my band mates Jake." The woman, now known as Lauren, nodded and helped me up

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to spy on you two." I spilled. Lauren just smiled

"Act like this didn't happen and we're cool." I nodded and she kissed CC on the cheek

"See ya tomorrow." CC nodded and smiled watching her walk away. He then turned to me and pushed me

"What the hell man? You can't tell anyone about her." I furrowed my brow

"Why not dude? How long have you been dating?" CC ran a hand through his hair and sighed

"Little before tour started. I didn't know how to tell you guys! Just, keep quiet until tomorrow alright?" I nodded and we walked back into the bar. Hailey was dancing with Jinxx and Andy was having a shot contest with Ashley

*** Next day***

Haileys POV:

I folded up some of the blankets the guys used last night just as someone knocked on the door. CC bolted for it as I set the blanket on the end of the bed. The door opened and CC walked in with a rather pretty girl looped on his arm

"Guys I want you to meet someone." Andy looked away from his laptop, Ashley and Jake looked up from the TV and Jinxx came out if the bathroom still fixing his hair

"Who's this pretty little thing?" Ashley smiled getting up. CC pulled the woman closer to him looking defensive

"Well, this is my girlfriend, Lauren Watson."

My jaw dropped.
