Quietly unlocking the front door, Sansa took a deep breath and stepped into her home glad to be home after dinner with her parents; they had insisted that Finn stay since they wanted to give her a break.

It had been a long day and Sansa hadn't been able to forget about her talk with Cathy, she missed Marco and she wished that she knew what was going on right now.

The media was filled with Carolin's story and every time she went online, there was something new being said; Sansa wondered if she was even good enough for Marco after everything that had happened.

There were still times when Sansa wondered if it would be better if she and Finn left, she felt like she was dragging Marco down and that he could do so much better than her.

Setting down her grey medium shoulder bag, Sansa moved to take off her interweave flats when she noticed that there was someone sitting in the dark; she froze staring at the figure before the light was turned on.

Marco stared at Sansa, he had been waiting for her since he had got home an hour ago, he was glad that Finn was with her parents and he knew that they really did need to talk about what was going on.

"You're home," Marco murmured offering Sansa a small smile, he couldn't help but bounce his knee worried what she might say; the last thing that he wanted was for them to break up now when they were so close to making it.

It had been over two weeks since the couple had really seen one another, they talked when they could but Marco couldn't help but admire how beautiful Sansa looked.

"Marco?" Sansa whispered a little surprised to see him, she knew that Cathy had said that he was considering coming home but Sansa had never considered that Marco would actually do it especially in the middle of a tournament.

It had been a stressful couple of days and Sansa had to take a deep breath to stop herself from breaking down; she had no idea what was going to happen with them now.

"You're meant to be in France," Sansa whimpered brushing a hand against her bump, she hadn't been expecting this and she couldn't take her eyes off Marco; fear creeped back in and she knew that this could go either way.

The thought that he was here to end things with her completely crossed her mind, Sansa knew that Carolin was still in France and had been pictured having such a wonderful time and she had wondered if she was waiting around for Marco.

"I had to come home," Marco murmured shaking his head, he had an idea what was going on in her mind but he wasn't going to let it rip them apart when they were doing so well.

They had come so far since they had gotten back together, they were going to have a baby soon and Marco wasn't going to let someone ruin it for them by putting doubts in Sansa's head.

Getting to his feet and walking over to Sansa, Marco knew that he wasn't ever going to let her slip through his fingers for a second time; he knew that she had fears that she didn't share with him but he wanted to make sure that it didn't happen again.

"I didn't sleep with her Sansa... I have no interest in Carolin," Marco mumbled taking her hands, he smiled when she didn't push him away and he gently pulled her close; he wrapped his arms around Sansa wanting to hold her close.

Sansa stared up at Marco, her stomach turning knowing that they needed to have this talk; they had something good and Sansa knew that she couldn't just turn and run like she wanted to do.

She had to fight for the good things even if there was a risk that she was going to have to take; Sansa loved Marco, he was one of the best things in her life.

Marco had come all this way to make this work, Sansa still couldn't believe that he had come home to her when he was meant to be focusing on winning the Euros with Germany.

"I love you Sansa... I am not going to let you go again," Marco said shaking his head, he kissed her knowing that things were going to be fine; he felt her relax in his arms and he knew that there was no way that Carolin was going to win.

His fingers brushed against the material of her blue split bell-sleeve tunic, he loved the feeling of her bump and Marco knew that it wasn't going to be long before their little boy was born.

Closing her eyes, Sansa cuddled into his arms and hoped that her nerves wouldn't get the best of her again; she didn't want to be constantly worrying about what was going to happen between them.

"I swear nothing happened between us... she was clingy and I was never alone with her," Marco murmured looking at Sansa, he knew that Carolin had said a lot of things that might stick in Sansa's mind and he was determined to prove that nothing had happened.

Carolin would be hearing from his lawyer tomorrow and Marco knew that she was in for a surprise, he would put a stop to her lies or he would take her to court to make sure that no one would ever try this again.

Marco couldn't understand why anyone would do what Carolin had, it happened to quite a few people and he knew that it could get worse if things weren't dealt with quickly.

The last thing that Marco wanted was for more people to think that they could create lies about him to make some money; he wanted to protect Sansa and their sons, they were what mattered to him and he knew that there was so much at stake.

"I know," Sansa murmured not opening her eyes, she didn't want to think about what Carolin had said; she knew that it would only make her worry that this was all some sort of horrible trick.

"I can't believe that you came home," Sansa mused smiling at Marco, they were now curled up in bed and she knew that he would have to head back to France to meet up with the team soon.

The couple had spent some time talking things through, Marco had been able to help Sansa with her worries and they both knew that they could finally let the past go; they could now focus on their unborn son and their impending marriage which was fast approaching.

"I couldn't stay away," Marco replied holding Sansa close, he brushed his fingers gently through her hair; he closed his eyes knowing that he was going to miss being able to do this when he returned to France.

It wasn't going to be able to hold her again until he returned, Marco loved playing for his country but it did mean that he was away from home a lot.

Sansa watched his face knowing that she was going to miss him, she couldn't wait for him to come home properly; she was just going to have to remember this night until he came home again.

"What about Declan?" Marco asked looking down at Sansa, he watched her knowing that they were going to have a son soon; they needed a good name and he had been doing a lot of thinking while he had been in France.

Marco wanted everything to be perfect when his son was born, they were all looking forward to the moment that they held the little boy in their arms for the very first time.

"Declan Reus," Sansa mused with a smile on her face, she liked the name and she was sure Finn would as well; she couldn't believe how fast her pregnancy had gone and soon they would be meeting Declan for the very first time.
