Regrets

"What are you doing?" It was Josh, he caught her packing.

Ely never slept last night, she left Josh at the couch asleep and went back to Levy. This morning she pretends she's asleep when Josh came in to their room. Levy was awake already. She told her father that mommy doesn't want to be disturbed on her sleep.

Josh left the room with Levy, when they're gone Ely took a shower. She can't face Josh, she was stupid and dumb, and she knows that. And there's no point in blaming herself, no matter how much she regret things it already happened. She can't turn back the clock.

It's time for her to move on; she needs to make a decision. She needs to settle things straight once and for all.

"I'm going home." Ely answered but she didn't look at Josh.

"What? No! wait...Levy expect you guys will stay here, what about Disney?" Josh is confused what is going on, why Ely is acting strange again.

"I said I'm going home, I didn't say Levy and I will go home."

"Oh, so that's it, you will run away again. Just like what you did in Jersey." Josh walks towards her and stop her from packing.

Josh looks into her eyes straight and asks "Tell me Ely, why did you run away that day?" He squint his eyes a little "Why did you left without saying a word? When Ely tried to avoid his eyes he grabbed her shoulders and continues to asks "What am I to you huh? Do you find this entertaining, toy with my emotion?"

"Who's playing?" Ely answered quickly "You're Josh Scurlock for Pete's sake." Ely's eyes turn misty. Her voice quivers.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" Josh furrowed his eyebrow.

"You know exactly what I mean?" Ely burst into tears.

Josh pulled her and he instantly wrapped his arms around her. "I love you Ely" Josh planted a soft kiss beside her ear, then gently pulled her away to look into her eyes and said "I maybe the Josh Scurlock you adored in movies but when I'm with you, I'm just a person named Josh Scurlock, the man who adored and love you."

"Stop" Ely remove his arms on her shoulder, "Please stop, I can't do this Josh."

"Why not?" Josh is losing his temper.

"Because it wasn't meant to be!" Ely raised her voice a little.

Josh raised his voice also "Says who, you?" then he said with emphasis "You made love to me when you barely knew me..." Josh scoffs "You kept my child...delivered her into this world and raised her..." Josh points his finger at Ely, he's really indignant. "You came here with us; you made love to me last night." Josh is so angry that he took Ely's luggage and throws it then he grabbed Ely and said "Stop fighting Ely and accept the fact that we are meant to be together."

"Levy has got nothing to do with us." Ely tried to slip away from Josh's grasp.

"Yes she does" Josh let go of her angrily "She's our kid Ely."

"Why are you doing this to me Josh?" Ely sat on the bed as she felt she's running out of strength. "Why can't you just let it go?" Ely brushed her palm to her face and rest her chin on both of her knuckles she didn't look at Josh she stares at the floor.

"Because I can't..." Josh sat down beside her. "I was so angry when I woke up that morning in Jersey; I thought you're nothing but like the other women who wanted to have a one night stand with a superstar."

Ely turn her eyes at Josh she didn't utter any words, she just studied his face. And then Josh moved and bends his knee in front of her. Josh holds both of her hands and said.
