[Jinxx's POV]

"Where could she be?!" I panicked as we looked around.

"Jinxx, calm down!! She's still in the building, alright? Security says they didn't see her run out the venue, so she's just hiding somewhere," Andy said.

"Why did she hide, though?" I asked.

"Well..... Jesse said she ran during Saviour," Andy said.

"Fuck," I sighed.

"You have to tell her, Jinxx," Ashley said.

Before I can talk, CC called out.

"I found her!" He called as he emerged from behind some spare amps with my daughter in his arms.

"Is she okay?" I asked, concerned as we rushed over.

"She's okay. Just sleeping," CC said. "She's a heavy sleeper like you."

I chuckled softly as I saw her sleeping tear-stained face.

I have to tell her.... I really do have to tell her.

Not knowing the truth must be killing her, and she doesn't even know what's coming to her.

"Get her to the bus so we can go to the hotel," I said, gripping her hand.

[Melody's POV]

I groaned as I woke up, seeing I was at the hotel, curled up in bed.

Andy was laying at the foot of the bed fast asleep, snoring softly.

CC slept in the other bed.

I signed and crawled out of bed, and noticed my shoes and socks were off, and then went to the bathroom.

I saw my face was cleaned as best as possible, and decided to grab some make up wipes and cleaned up the rest of the black residue on my face, then splashed some cold water in my face.

I dried up and went to see who was awake.

Lucky, I saw Ashley was on his laptop at the kitchen counter and Dad was watching television, Jake asleep on the other side of the couch.

"What happened?" I mumbled, making them both turn, my dad getting up.

"Hey," he said. "How do you feel?"

"I'm okay," I said. "Just hungry."

"Here," Ashley said, giving me a box of takeout and a fork.

"Thank you," I said as Dad made room for me to sit down next to him.

"What happened to me?" I asked.

"We found you behind the amps, you cried yourself to sleep. I cleaned up ypur make up the best I could, I hope that's okay," Ashley said.

"That's fine," I said. "Thank you."

"No problem. Ummm... Look, Jinxx needs to talk to you, so, we'll leave you two to talk," Ashley said.

I nodded as he got to Jake, waking him up and leading him to the other room.

I then turned to Dad as he looked nervous.

"Why are you nervous?" I asked.

"Can I... Ask you something?" he asked.

"Of course," I said.

"What do you know.... about your biological family?" he asked.

I scrunched my eyebrows. "Well, my mom left me there, reasons unknown. Sometimes I think she couldn't raise me and had no choice," I explained. "As for my father.... I don't know anything about him... Not knowing about them hurts but, you know, I sometimes managed the best I could."

He bit his lip nervously

"Why do you ask?" I asked, curious to why everyone asks me questions like this.

"There's something I want to tell you, and I don't know how to tell you, but I just don't want you to get hurt in the future," he said. "And just know that... I am so sorry..."

"You're scaring me.... What's going on?" I asked.

He then started to explain....
