❦ Chapter 9 - Saviour

[Melody's POV]

Living on a bus seems claustrophobic in a way, but it was interesting nonetheless.

Of course, these guys need to learn how to clean up after themselves, especially my dad.

Hehe.

I woke up early and being bored, just ended up cleaning the bunk room, lounge room and kitchen, and started to cook some breakfast for them.

Once I was done, I served the bacon, french toast, hashbrowns, and eggs sunny-side up, and some coffee.

Ashley was the first one up.

"Wow, look who decided to play chef," I said.

"I cleaned up a little, and decided to make you all some breakfast," I said.

"Didn't have to. Thank you," he said as he sat down, taking a bite of the hashbrowns, eyes widening. "Whoa...."

"Hehe, I tried," I said, shrugging.

"And succeeded well," he said as he ate.

I cleaned up the kitchen and soon sat down to eat with him as Dad and Andy walked out.

"Why does everything look clean?" He yawned.

"Melody woke up, cleaned and cooked for us," Ashley said as he ate.

"You didn't have to, Mel," Andy said as him and Dad sat down.

"Its the least I can do. I mean, you all took me in, gave me a family," I said, pouring some coffee for them.

"Well, thank you, Melody," Dad smiled.

I smiled back and poured coffee for him as CC woke up.

"Hey, if it isn't our little Mini Jinxx," He yawned.

I laughed. "You can say that, I suppose. Eat up. Jon says we'll be at the hotel in 2 hours," I said as I got back to eating and then soon we were done. Right when I was about to wash the plates, Dad stopped me.

"No, no, allow me. Go start getting ready," He said.

"Okay," I smiled and walked off to get ready.

[Jinxx's POV]

As I watched Melody walked away, Andy walked up to me.

"You have to tell her," he said.

I sighed, nodded. "When we're at our hotel after our show. I swear."

He nodded and patted my back as I washed the dishes.

Once that was done, we all got our stuff together, Melody washing up whereas we get ready at the hotel.

It wasn't long until we arrived and Melody got ready, wearing some black jeans, some boots, and a BVB shirt, her hair neatly done, and wearing just her key necklace.

"I'm ready," she smiled.

"Hmmm," I said. "Something's missing."

She scrunched her eyebrows.

"Ready to really  represent?" I asled, grabbing my MAC paint.

She shrugged. "Okay."

"Come on," I said, patting a spot on the couch.

Once she sat down, I grabbed my brush and got to work.

Once I was done, I held the mirror up to her. I painted my warpaint, but only one one eye like me.

"Hehe, wow, that looks like yours," she said.

"It is," I smiled. "Just something to represent for your first show," I smiled.

She then threw her arms around me, hugging me. "Thank you so much!"

I smiled and hugged her back. "Its nothing."

"Not to me," she said. "To me, its everything."

I smiled as I then heard Ash call us that it was time to go.

"Let's get going," I said.

[Melody's POV]

I cheered as I watched the show side stage.

They were amazing, and Jinxx was really good at guitar.

And Andy's voice was so deep and powerful, its no wonder a lot of girls go so crazy over him.

"Alright, now, this next song is a bit of a flashback from the album that basically put Black Veil Brides on the map, its called Saviour," Andy said as Jake got an acoustic guitar and Jinxx got his violin hooked up.

I smiled as I heard the song play and Andy's deep but soft voice sang.

I never meant to be the one

My smile fell as I heard the lyrics, memories and thoughts coming to my head as tears began to slowly pool in my eyes.

So here I write my lullaby

That's where Jinxx syarted to play his solo and I felt tears fall down my cheeks like a dam broke.

I couldn't take it anymore and ended up running to the back, near a storage area and hid behind some old amps and fell to the ground hugging my knees, crying.

All my life, I wished for someone to save me know so much.

Why my mother had to leave me? Who my father is? Where is he? Why was I so unwanted and hated? What is wrong with me?

I am glad Jinxx saved me from suxh darkness, but..... Why do I still feel so incomplete?

I ended up crying a lot until I somehow fell asleep there.
