My sapphire

Chapter Nine

~Rubys POV~

Its been a while since I've seen my father or have been hit but I've gotten over all that bad stuff that has happened to me I've gotten stronger I'm almost healed an that's all thanks to sapphire I now have a job and everything but I still help out sapphire with steven and all

school has been great I had amethyst over the other night at my place and I invited sapphire to meet my best friend since dippers they hit it right off the bat turns out they have more in common than I thought

that night all of us had tons of fun I even met one of sapphires closes friends her names pearl but I didn't just meet her I've seen her around the school she's in my chemistry class and a couple more classes but anyways we all had a huge party that night we played dare or double dare and hide an go seek, flashlight, bloody Mary, we had this dance contest its was really fun but that fun had to end I had work to do and so did sapphire.

I walked out of my empty room in sapphires house with my suit case I'm totally not ready to leave sapphire alone in this house but I need my own place I can't just keep living here it doesn't feel right I walked out side and shut the front door behind me making my way to sapphires car I put my suite case in the back well tried to I had to make room since amethyst and pearl were with us as soon as I finally got the suit case to fit in the back I to in the passenger seat

"So ruby you ready to have your own place?" Sapphire spoke up

"Great but it isn't just gonna be my place me and amethyst decided that we should live together like split the apartment and rent"

"Yeah we did agree to that cause I can't stand to live with my aunt anymore and since ruby found that apartment and I know she couldn't pay all the rent by her self I ask if I could be her roommate"

"Oh that's a great idea now you won't get so lonely" sapphire gushed with joy

"Hey amethyst when do you plan on moving in?" I looked her in the eyes

"Um I have a couple more things to pack so maybe tomorrow or something" I nobbed my head and looked back at sapphire I poked her

"What are you doing tonight?".

She turned in to my new drive way I grinned at my apartment thank god I got the down stairs apartment I wasn't trying to carry all my stuff up stairs I got out the car and started grabbing boxes and walked up to the front door I unlocked it and walked in it had that new smell to it setting the boxes down I looked around observing how every thing looks

"This is nice" I heard pearl say I smiled why thank you I know I have good taste

I didn't have much stuff in the car so I would really take a long time to unpack three or four boxes and put up a couple shelves and standes that I bought it wouldn't take long maybe two hours give or take

"Hey amethyst which room you want" I looked at amethyst she shrugged her shoulders

"I don't know"

"Well go pick I don't care what room you get okay"

"Ok" she walked off into the hall to I turned around an saw sapphire carrying a box threw the door I squinted my eyes looking at sapphire
She looked short like shorter than usual

"Hey sapphire did I grow or did you shrink" I grinned at her I grew and she knows it I'm finally tall well I mean I'm not that tall but I'm as tall as pearl so I'm okay with my height now

"Ruby be quite cause your only an inch or two taller" she sat the box down and looked back at me "that was the last box to" I nobbed my head an sat on one of the boxes

"Ruby I want the room in the front is that okay with you" I turned my head to the right and looked at amethyst

"Yeah its fine" I walked to my room and looked around my room was the back room which is by the laundry room and bathroom I wasn't small but it wasn't big either the room was a good size for me I walked out the room and went back to the main room aka the living room I saw everyone huddled in a circle on the floor I made my way over to them an sat by sapphire an amethyst while pearl was across from me

"So what's are plans for tonight since I don't have work tomorrow and we all do need to go to school because of test what shall we do" pearl said

"Uh we could have a huge slumber party oh and we all can invite some people just not any creepy scary druggy " sapphire said while getting up and grabbing her phone

"But we should have the party at my house cause I don't think ruby want as anyone here while the house is still not ready" I nodded at sapphire

Amethyst raised her hand "I totally agree plus I mean I really don't want people to know were we live just yet"

"So its set were having that slumber party at my house" we all nodded at sapphire and got up I ran to my room and got a pair of boxers and a plain white t-shirt and socks an a jacket then rushed out my apartment I lock the door and walked to sapph's car an got in

Tonight is gonna be one hell of a night.
