I was tapping my pen on the table and momentarily biting it while looking outside the glass window. My professor keeps on bugging on some lectures but I don't really mind.
Nasa labas lang nakatuon ang mga mata ko na para bang may hinihintay. But honestly, I am not waiting for someone nor anything. I was just looking at how the rain pours so hard.
I bet it's already flooding outside. I frowned. Geez. Wala nga pala akong payong dahil naiwan ko sa sasakyan ni Tatay Meng. He's probably stranded somewhere by the time we will be dismissed. I'm sure hindi niya ako masusundo.
I was about to return my eyes on our professor when someone caught my attention. Napakunot kaagad ang noo ko.
There is this guy who is wearing a hooded jacket and jeans. Nakabag pack ito at nakabonnet. He was just standing outside while looking at the sky. My lips parted.
He's gonna get sick! What is he doing under the rain?
I shook my head. Why should I really care?
I shrugged my shoulder. I really can't see the guy's face. Well instead of bothering myself on him mas pinili ko nalang ibalik ang tingin ko sa professor namin at laking gulat ko na nasa dulo na kami ng novel na binabasa niya!
I thought we were just in chapter 2? Or so I thought. Hindi naman kasi ako nakikinig.
But really, there is this magnet that pushes me to look outside the window again and I was stunned when I saw the guy still standing outside. He is soaking wet already!
This time ay gumagalaw na ito. He brushed his hair with his hands at pakiramdam ko ay may kung anong malilikot na insekto ang nagwala sa tiyan ko nang bahagya itong humarap.
I can't believe I am seeing this hot, handsome human being under the rain! Jesus! What am I saying?
Umiwas ulit ako tingin pero hindi ko maiwasang tumingin ulit. He is really stunning. Not that I haven't seen any good looking guys. There is just something different on him.
I look at him from head to toe then up to his head again. Kitang-kita ko kung paano humapit sa katawan nito ang suot nitong black plain shirt dahil basang-basa na nga ito sa ulan. I bet he has firm muscles, ni wala man lang akong nakitang taba sa katawan nito.
He was already walking when I notice how firm his muscles on his arms. Hindi naman siya bulky. He has a model-like figure tanda na alaga nito ang katawan.
I can't believe that I am really describing him instead of listening to our lecture!
"Ms. Rivera..."
I was just staring at him habang papalayo na ito. Hindi man lang ito nag-abalang tumakbo para sumilong, well..basa narin naman na siya so there's no point on doing that. Kaya lang baka siya magkasakit--
"Ms. Rivera!" Bigla akong napatayo nang marinig ko ang boses ng professor namin.
"Ye-yes po?" I shakingly asked. Kanina pa ba ako tinatawag? I heard my classmates chuckled including my oh-so-good-friend sitting beside me, Prim.
I squinted my eyes on her. Bigla itong napatakip ng bibig, restraining herself from giggling.
"I said read." Said our professor.
"Re-read?" I stuttered again.
"Ay hindi, write. Write on the board." Dinig kong bulong ni Prim. I pouted on her.
Hindi ko alam ang babasahin ko! I don't even know what chapter are we already!
Luckily, the bell suddenly rang tanda na dismissal na. Halos mapatalon ako sa tuwa dahil doon. Napailing ang professor namin. Alam kong sa susunod target na niya ako, so I better read.
"Lucky bitch eh?" I heard Prim said. Inismiran ko lang ito. We are already packing our things. Ang ilan sa mga kaklase namin ay lumabas na ng room.
"Shut up. Di ka nakakatuwa Prim." I hissed. Tinawanan pa ako.
"I saw you earlier. You were not even listening." She said. I gave her a questioning look. Deny pa!
I zip my bag then put it on my shoulder. Hinayaan kong dumaldal si Prim habang bitbit nito ang shoulder bag. Nagdiretso naman ako sa palabas habang nakasunod na ito.
"Admit it! You are ogling earlier! " She keeps on saying. I rolled my eyes. Totoo naman!
"I am not." I answered. Liar!
"Says who? I saw how you look at Radicus." She said. And that caught my attention so I stop walking.
"Radicus who?" I asked. Kahit pa alam kong posibleng iyong lalaking nasa labas ang tinutukoy nito. He is the only guy standing under the rain earlier!
"Hello! Radicus Seph Alcantara? He is just the guy your drooling with kanina." She said while she's fixing her hair.
"Radicus..." I silently mouthed.
"I know right. He is really hot but do not dare to fall for him. He's dangerous." Prim said. Kumunot naman ang noo ko. Instead of taking her warning seriously, I got even more interested.
"Radicus...Radicus Seph Alcantara. " Paulit-ulit kong iniisip habang naalala ko kung paano ko siya nakita kanina sa labas. The way he stood under the rain as if he doesn't care anything around him..kahit mabasa siya..kahit..
"Maya! Ayan ka naman, wala ka na naman sa Earth. Lika na!" I heard Prim shouted.
"Oo na. Calm down. Napaka- eskandalosa mo. Lam mo yun?" I said.
