My worst fear is forgetting.
Forgetting what made me me,
Forgetting who made me me,
Forgetting why I am me,
Forgetting who I am,
Forgetting what I am,
Forgetting myself.
I worry that I'll forget what has shaped me,
What has changed me,
What has helped my mental growth,
What has helped my physical growth.
Forgetting who helped me,
Who saved me,
Who scared me,
Who bullied me,
Who respected me.
I fear that I will forget,
But of everything I forget,
That fear is not one of them.

(Btw, today is 9/11, and I just want to commemorate all the innocent people that died in the event of the Twin Towers, and also all the innocent people in the Middle East who paid the price for a crime they did not commit.)
