"Alright so I guess I guess its my turn since I am her older brother, Im not gonna lie it surprised me when Gaby told me that she wanted to me a paramedic but when she told me that she wanted to make a difference a help save a life I understood her, growing up with Gaby hasn't been easy but it sure has been fun and I wouldn't have it any other way and I sure am glad that I get to have a little sister like Gaby who is caring, loving, smart, tough, daring, compassionate so many more qualities to describe her that it would take us all night long so all I have to say is Happy birthday sis love you"
There were many more speeches about Gaby afterwards it was time for cake and they all sang happy birthday as, as was about to blow out her candles she looked at Casey and knew exactly what her wish would be and then blew out her candles. As she was standing there with Shay eating cake someone came from behind and taped her shoulder and signaled her outside.
They walked outside and he held out her present "I would have give it to you earlier but you looked pretty busy so here you go" Casey said. Dawson took his present and opened it and gasped as she seen what it was she could help but smile "Thank you Casey its beautiful really it is" Dawson said as she took the bracelet out of the box . Before even thinking about it she leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
She pulled away when she realized what she had done "Im so sorry I shouldn't have done that" he was about to say something but in that moment the door opened up and Hallie walked out "Hey here you are I was looking all over for you" she stood in the middle of them. "Hi Im Hallie Matts fiancé you must be Dawson Ive heard great things about you" Hallie said as she held out her hand.
Dawson smiled and shook her hand "Hi you can call me Gaby and nice to finally meet you umm well I should go inside see you guys in there" Dawson said and Hallie nodded. For the first time Casey noticed how wonderful Dawson smelled and he couldn't stop starring at her as walked inside the bar. Which did not go unnoticed by his fiancé Hallie which got her pretty upset making her clear her throat to catch his attention.
"You finish looking at her?" she said once he looked at her "What are you talking about?" he asking acting like he didn't know what she was saying. She just shook her head and walked inside the bar, Casey could punch himself if he could for getting caught.
Lately Hallie and him have been arguing a lot they have even talked about ending their relationship. Casey always wanted to have a big family a family he never had but Hallie was more interested in her career, so every time Casey brought up the date for the wedding she would always have an excuse to keep delaying the wedding and to be honest Casey was getting tired of it all.
About 20 minutes after they had a few drinks Hallie wanted to go home, Casey was having a good time talking and just hearing stories of everything that had happen before he got there. So Hallie insisted that he stay so he didn't argue.
Three hours later little by little everybody started leaving it was now only Otis and Dawson that stayed to clean Hermann wanted to stay but Dawson made him leave with his wife Cindy to go home with their children. Otis had also insisted on Dawson on leaving but she denied because she said that she would not feel right leaving him to cleaning up all by himself.
They were almost done when Dawson finally convinced Otis to leave that she would finish the rest. She was about done when she sat done on a chair was smiling thinking about what a great time she had earlier that night with all her friends that she didn't notice that somebody had entered the bar.
She felt a pair of hand on her shoulders her eyes widened and she got scared and she immediately turned around to see and sighed relieved when she seen who it was. "You scared me!" she said laughing. "Im sorry I never meant to scary you I should have said something before I just seen you so lost in your on thought that I thought I would walk over you should really lock the door when your alone where is Otis and Hermann?"
"Hermann is at home with his family and Otis just left a while ago he helped me out and then left I was just finishing and I was about to close up and leave what are you doing here I thought you left a while ago?" She asked looking at him suspicious.
"I did but halfway home I noticed I forgot my wallet so I had to come back for it oh here it is." he got his wallet from the other table he couldn't help but smile at Dawson "So you had a good birthday?" She couldn't help but smile "The best surround by my friend and family couldn't have asked for a better birthday." she smile but there was a few tears coming down her cheeks.
"Hey whats wrong? Why are you crying?" he asked confused to why she was crying If she was just happy a few minutes ago. "I just really missed my parent today they called me today in the morning but its not the same and then I had breakfast with my cousin Maria and her family for breakfast and it reminded of my family when I was younger. And then throughout breakfast my cousin couldn't stop but bring up the subject of when Im going to have a baby." She said laughing.
He looked at her "You don't want children?" he would have thought that she would have wanted children well to him she looked like the mother figure. She nodded "yes I do but its not easy to start a family especially when a guy finds out that I have a detective for a brother they immediately run the other way and plus my job keeps me pretty busy to actually go out there to meet anybody."..
SO I LEFT THE PERSON SHE IS TALKING TO MYSTERIOUS BUT I THINK EVERYBODY KNOWS!
NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE A PAST EVENT AND IT WILL BE ABOUT HALLIE AND CASEY BREAK UP.
ALSO BE ABOUT DAWSON ADN CASEY AND THEIR FIRST KISS AND HOW THEY REALIZE THEIR TRUE FEELINGS FOR ONE ALONE BUT ARE TO SCARED TO CONFUSE IT TO ONE ANOTHER.
SOMEONE WILL HAVE TO HELP THEM SOMEONE VERY CLOSE.
