"Hey so um I wanted to start doing the walls tonights and then go from there?" He said as he walked back to the storage room. Gabby looked at her watch.
She had nothing to do but she was pretty hungry. But she knew Hermann would kill her if she passed the opportunity of having Casey plaster the wall. "Okay thats fine."
She was about to ask him if he would like to get a bite to eat but in that moment they heard someone in the front. Dawson looked a bit confused at Casey while he had an amused looked. She walked up to the front and opened the door to see a guy standing there with a pizza box. she was a bit confused "Yeah I got an order for Matt Casey." Dawson looked back at Matt and seen him walking up to them with his wallet, he handed the guy the money as the guy handed him the box. The guy was about to give him the change but Casey shook his head "keep he change and thanks" Casey said and closed the door. Dawson was still a bit confused as he set the pizza on the table. "I know you had plans with your brother and since they were cancelled I thought that you hadn't aten so now we could" Dawson couldn't help but laugh. She walked behind the counter and got two cups of beer.
As they ate they talked and really got to know each other "So tell me about youself Matt Casey" Dawson said trying to make conversation. he smiled "Well I grew up in New Jersey and when I was in high school I realized that I wanted to be a firefighter so by the time I graduated I got accepted into the academy so without a doubt I moved here to Chicago." Dawson could see he got a bit sad "How about your family did they stay back in New Jersey or did they move here to Chicago?" he didn't say anything for a while he just remained silent. "Um my sister actually moved here to Chicago before I did she's 3 years older than me my mom is in New Jersey and my dad he died when I was 18" Dawson didn't know what to say now she knew why Casey was so hesitant to answer her question. "Im so sorry" is all she could say. He just shrugged "How about you?" He asked changing the subject.
"Well I grew up here in Chicago with my brother, after I graduated high school my parents moved back to the Dominican Republic they come by and visit during the holidays so it was pretty much Antonio and I taking care of each other, I wanted to go to Med school to be a doctor but didn't have enough money for that so I got into the next big thing EMT" She explained to him he was taken away by how independent she was. They finished eating and Dawson looked at the time it was getting pretty late so they headed out and each got in their cars and went home. As Dawson was getting changed into her pajamas she couldn't help but smile just thinking about Casey "No Dawson he is only your colleague nothing can happen between you two" She said to herself.
The next morning Dawson was walking up to the station to see Otis and Hermann standing there. "So what happened last night between Casey and you? Did he plaster the wall?" The asked, "Whoa guys calm down, yes he did plaster the wall and he helped with a few more things so the bar should be ready to open this weekend already!" Hermann let out a sigh of relieve. They all walked inside the station and towards their lockers, Dawson was already walking out the locker room when Casey walked in, she smiled at him as he smiled back. She was walking towards the kitchen to get herself a cup of coffee when her partner Shay was now walking next to her. "So Otis was telling me that you guys are all ready for Friday night to have the big opening of Molly's" Dawson nodded of course she was this was her big official business she was owner of a bar...
NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE THE GRAND OPENING OF MOLLY'S.
THERE WILL BE DRAMA CASEY'S FIANCE IS INTRODUCED IN THE NEXT CHAPTER.
I WILL ALSO BE PUTTING THE PRESENT TIME WHILE DAWSON IS IN THE HOSPITAL CASEY WILL REMEMBER HOW THEY FINALLOY GOT TOGETHER.
SO I WILL BE POSTING MORE CHAPTERS BECAUSE BEFORE I WAS WRITING THROUGH MY PHONE AND IT WASTED A LOT OF TIME AND MY BATTERY BUT NOW I FINALLY HAVE MY COMPUTER SO THE WRITTING SO BE PRETTY FAST!
