The Big Three
The Olympians are a group of twelve Gods and Goddesses who ruled after overthrowing the Titans.
The Big Three was the name given to the three Gods who ruled over the majority of the world. The three were Zeus, Poseidon and Hades.
Zeus overthrew his father Kronos, the leader of the Titans. He was granted the supreme ruler of the Gods. He is the lord of the sky, and his weapon is a thunderbolt.
Poseidon is the brother of Zeus and Hades, and after the overthrow of Kronos, was rewarded with his share of the world. He was given the title lord of the sea, and his weapon is a trident.
Hades is the final of the three and drew the worst draw that made him the lord of the underworld, ruling over the dead.
