Cop Car (Poofless)

Start from the beginning

Your daddy's gonna kill me, But if I survive tonight I wouldn't change one thing. Baby, yeah, I know it sounds crazy.

"You're father will have me hung. No, worse. He'll make it so I can never see you again. We've done great things Preston." Rob complained as he leaned back in his seat.
"Come on Robbie, he loves you too much to do that."
"Do you know you're father? He hates my guts because I'm "ruining his son". Like you didn't ruin yourself." Rob complained. Preston chuckled as he scooted closer.
"I may have ruined myself most the way, but there are ways you ruined me." Preston huskily whispered to Rob.
"Oh really, how is that?"

But there was somethin bout the way The blue lights were shinin. Bringing out the freedom in your eyes. I was too busy watching you Going wild child To be worried about going to jail. You were thinking that Running for it Would make a good story. I was thinking you were crazy as h*ll. And you were so Innocent, But you were stealing my heart.
I fell in love in the back of a cop car.

Rob stared at his "innocent" best friend who had a huge smirk. The blue eyes were still reflecting in his eyes. His soft brown hair was slightly tousled and his whole appearance gave him a mischievous aura. His smirk widened as he noticed Rob was staring again. He loved watching Rob's reactions to this side of him. He loved to be free and run wild, and felt he could be like that with Rob. He'd never show this side to his family or friends at school, just Rob. Because he could trust Rob with anything, and he loved that about him.
"Well, where does one begin? You taught me that my parents aren't the rulers of the world." Preston cooed as he scooted closer again.
"Well, you deserve the truth. Tell me more." And the small smirk on Rob's face made Preston fall even more in love.

Side by side, And locked in tight. They were taking their time, But we didn't mind. We talked, And we laughed, We sat real close. By the time they let us go, I was already gone.

Preston and Rob spent the next twenty minutes joking about, Preston skipping the most important reason why Rob ruined him. They were seated practically on top of each other now, joking and laughing, hands still cuffed behind them. The officer was still talking to Preston's dad outside the car but that didn't bother them. They were too absorbed in each other to even notice. He eventually climbed back into the car and started it. "Your father wants both of you at his house." The officer informed Preston. He rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"Of course he does. He always-"
"Preston. Don't push your luck or your dad will let them arrest you." Rob intervened. Preston shut his mouth and pouted. The police car jolted forward and they began off.

Rob had sat quietly the whole ride, planning his apology to Preston's father. Preston kept bothering the cop, Rob rolling his eyes and the officer ignoring him. "I'm bored! Why aren't either of you helping me be entertained?" Preston groaned.
"Because I'd like to live through tonight. And your father is going to kill me if I don't think of some way to suck up to him. So decide, entertainment or my life." Rob replied. The cop chuckled as if it was a joke but for Rob it wasn't. Preston's father terrified him, and he broke his trust. He trusted him with his son and he got them both arrested. Preston was just too adorable to regret it. The freedom in his eyes, the colors of red and blue against his figure, his quirky attitude, and his flirty sarcasm. It was absolutely breathtaking. His urges to break the rules and rebel made Rob melt like putty in his hands. It sucked, seeing as it lead to his demise. But Preston was insane and gorgeous that night, so he didn't regret it. He smiled at the boy beside him who smiled back. That's when it all clicked for Rob. "I fell in love in the back of a cop car." Rob mumbled to himself.
When they arrived, the cop pulled Rob then Preston out of the car. Preston's father was about to yell at them but instead Preston met Rob's lips in a kiss. Rob was shocked at first but kissed back, forgetting Preston's father.
"The best way you ruined me was by making me fall in love with my best friend, Robert." Preston whispered. His father pulled him away from Rob and left the cuffs on Rob.
"Good luck paying bail, f*g." Preston's father hissed at Rob. Rob felt himself tear up as he heard Preston begin begging his father not to do this, that it was his fault. "Go to your room son, I'll deal with you later."
"No." Preston replied. He ran over to Rob and began to kiss him again. Rob kissed back, wishing his handcuffs would disappear so he could wrap his arms around his waist. Preston broke the kiss and looked at his father. "It's my fault more than his. So if you're arresting him, then you'd have to arrest me. Laws are laws dad." Preston said. His father looked angry beyond belief.
"What's going on?" His mother asked as she walked out.
"Dad's trying to arrest Rob when it was my fault more than anything. It's childish." Preston explained.
"Childish? You're one to speak!" His father growled, approaching the two. "Look at what you did to my son! You destroyed my son!" Preston's father sent a fist flying towards Rob but Preston stepped in front of it.
"He didn't destroy me! If anything he saved me! He kept me alive when you made me feel worthless! He kept me entertained when all I had to do was listen to you beat mom! He kept me happy when I wanted to die! Like h*ll he ruined me. If anyone ruined me, it was you." Preston growled. The other officer had been listening and had a scowl on his face.
"Really Chief? Domestic abuse. Every good cop has a fault. I hereby place you under arrest for domestic-"
"And sexual" Preston added as he leaned back against Rob.
"Domestic and sexual assault. You should know your rights." He forced Preston's father into the car and shut the door. He undid Rob's cuffs and smiled. "Good luck and good night." He said before hopping in the car and driving off.
"You got rid of him. Thank you." Preston's mother sobbed as she hugged her son.
"Thank Rob. It's all his fault. He made me fall in love in the back of a cop car."
