Kingdom
The world
Is like a
Kingdom
Kings and Queens
that we allow to rule
over us
and take away
our power and originality
allowed to control the
Kingdom
Knights
that we allow to fight
all of our battles for us
soldiers giving up everything
their lives for our lesser ones
all to protect a screwed up
Kingdom
Nobles
that we allow to look down
on us
and show us
the (proper) way to live
and they control the looks of the
Kingdom
Middle-Class People
that we walk alongside of
the ones who secretly
hate us and us hate on them
but it remains hidden
the fake-ness of a (happy)
Kingdom
Peasants
that we allow ourselves
to look past on and walk on
the beggars and hard-workers
we refuse to help
and we make them the character of our
Kingdom
We say we are a democracy
but that's only as far
as the government goes
Someone will always hold
power over our heads
and our voices are more silent in this
Kingdom
It's crazy, I know,
how right I am
that society is crashing
and we've created
a very messed-up
Kingdom
The world
Is like a
Kingdom
and we've already lost all control.
