Are you better than me
With a heart that can see
Happiness and joy?Are you better than her
Childhood a painful blur
Yours shiny and bright? Are you better than him
With his heart worn thin
You completely in tact? You walk with your head held high
But, dear, you were born in the the sky
I, born in the dirt
Working to clean myself off
I may be dirtier than you
But my heart remains true
Even as I try to pull throughAre you better than me
When you haven't seen what I've seen?
