The feeling is taking me over again
The numbness filling my soul
The emptiness taking over my entire being
I do not know what to write
And so I write nothing
And everything at the same time
I sit here and put words on paper
Unable to describe the swiftly flitting thoughts in my mind
I cannot focus on a single story
I cannot tell a single tale
I write words
I write phrases
Or letters
And numbers
If I could write symbols and pictures I would
But I do not know what to write
My mind draws a blank
So I drown myself in stories
And read for inspiration
But I can no longer create
Numb and empty
I cannot form thoughts into words
The writer's block takes over my soul
