.Wednesday.

Making my way through the busy school halls, with ear phones effectively blasting music into my ears, I stared at the ground.

I walked, bumping into people, not really caring.

I reached my locker and put in the combination.

I put my bag away and grabbed my books for the next subjects.

English and Chemistry.

Yay for English. Chemistry, not so much.

I was good at Chemistry, but I didn't enjoy it.

I loved English.
I loved to write novels with my mum when I was younger.

And reading.
Dad would read Jax and I to sleep as mum listened as well.

My thoughts were disturbed when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I took out my ear phones and turned around to find Cassie and Johnny.

"Hey," I said.

"Hey," they both greeted.

"You need something?" I asked a bit more harshly than intended.

Cassie ignored the rudeness in my voice as if I hadn't even spoken.

"We have English together, dummy. Wanna walk?" She laughed.

"I have to hand something in at Administration. I'll see you in class." I smiled and closed my locker.

I head off down the halls putting my ear phones back in.

I didn't have anything I needed to hand in.

I just wanted to walk in peace.

And by peace I meant head down and blasting music.

I bumped into someone real hard which would have knocked me down to the floor but didn't because they caught me by the waist.

My books fell to the ground, though.

"Watch where you're-" I was trying to push out of their arms but when I faced the guy I rolled my eyes.

So there I was. In Nathan's arms.

He smirked down at me.

"I believe that was your fault," he arched a brow settling me back onto my feet.

People were looking at us, but that didn't really bother me.

He picked my books up from the ground and handed them to me.

"English is that way," he pointed in the opposite direction.

"Yeah. I just wanted to be alone." I said.

"Not really that easy being in a school full of ratty adolescent's," he scrunched his nose.

I laughed.

"Watch it! I'm one of those,"

We laughed together but stopped when a group of girls came up to us.
And of course Gabby just appeared.
