"Mommy, this chicken taste so good!" Gigi told me before she bit a piece of her chicken
I sat on the floor with her and Gio in the living room eating wings and fries while watching Bluey.
I just got off of the phone with Dre's momma not too long ago and she told me that Emoni was eventually up, asking about Marcus. She said she didn't wanna tell her so soon because of the condition she's in but we all know Emoni and she's not gonna stop until she gets an answer so eventually she told her and she said Emoni's been crying ever since.
"Mommy I don't think Gio likes bluey" Gigi informed me as she rubbed her nose with her arm, holding a piece of chicken in her hand
"Why not?"
"Cause he likes that show that daddy watches"
"Gio really don't need to be watching that show daddy watches so we're gonna try new shows. Right Gio"
He shook his head as he continued walking around the living room while eating his chicken
I could hear Dre coming down the hall and eventually he appeared in the living room.
When Gio saw his daddy he wasted no time running to him while Gigi smiled at him
"Daddy! I was worried about you"
"Why you was worried about me?" He asked her while picking Gio up, trying to put some kind of enthusiasm in his voice but it wasn't working
"Cause you was sleep ALLLLL day" she dramatically said making him chuckle. I laughed and shook my head
"Gigi girl, I told you daddy was tired"
Gigi licked the sauce off of her fingers now that she was done, and looked at her daddy
"What you tired for?" She asked, sounding like somebody's old, mean ass auntie "You don't go to school."
That made Dre genuinely burst out laughing while she was obviously serious about her question
"Wait till you graduate, I want you to have this sameeee energy" I told her while Dre sat on one of the couches
"I put your food up, you want it now?" I asked him and he shook his head
"Im good"
"Dre, you ain ate all day"
"Im good"
I just stared at him and he stared back
"Baby ima need you to try and eat something"
"I will when I get hungry"
"I just got off the phone with your momma" I decided to change the subject since I knew he wasn't about to give in with his stubborn ass
"What she say?"
"Emoni's up... and she knows what happened"
He just nodded as somebody knocked on the door.
Dre sat Gio on the couch while he went to go check to see who it was
"The fuck?" I could hear him mutter before he opened the door so I looked, seeing some guy standing there
