Daemon Targaryen 2 part 3.

I stood watching the blonde haired male in front of me,unsure whether to believe him or not.
"Why should I trust you when you say you only wish to talk? I asked him" This could be a trap to keep me here until the others arrive."
"I can assure you there are no others,nor is this a trap. You have my word that I only wish to talk, nothing more" the man said
"Okay so talk" I said wanting to get this over with fast
"May I know your name?" The man asked
"You may call me Y/n" I said.

"Is that your real name?" The man asked
"That's for you to decide" I said,the man laughed at that" What do I call you Targaryen?"
"Daemon" he said
"I know you aren't here to just learn my name Daemon Targaryen,so what is it that you want" I asked
"Straight to the point,I like it" Daemon said he took a step closer to me and Drakkon growled at him
"I wouldn't get to close,Drak isn't fond of strangers" I said
"That's fine,I don't fear dragon fire" Daemon said.

This guy is either really brave or really stupid
"It is known that only the new born of the house of Targaryen are given dragon eggs,how did you come by one?" Daemon asked me
"I came upon the egg by chance actually" I said,I looked back at Drakkon before continuing" I had been on the trail of a traveler for the past two days,when he stopped in a cave. I watched and waited to see what he was doing,I was in need of money for food. The man returned from the cave without his supplies,so when he was out of sight I snuck into the cave. I helped my self to a bit of his food and money, I sat and warmed my self by the fire. It was then that I noticed the green egg in the flames"

"I don't recall any eggs been reported stolen from the pit" Daemon said"How did you get away with the egg?"
"The man must have got drunk in a tavern,as I stayed in the cave for the rest of the day. By sunrise the next morning the egg had hatched and a little green dragon was beside me" I told him
"This man what did he look like?" Daemon asked
"Big,tall,ugly with long black hair"I said"I didn't get to close to see any more details "
"There is a possibility that the egg you came across could have been stolen from the pit,however it could have also come from one of the wild dragons as well" Daemon said.

"Do people normally steal dragon eggs from you?" I asked
"No they normally try and take gold or jewellery. They wouldn't dare take a egg" Daemon said
"Well what if the man I got Drakkon from,got someone inside this pit to give them an egg?" I suggested
"I hadn't thought of it that way" Daemon said" that would be something to look into" I watched as Daemon thought on what I had just told him. It was then that I noticed that his dragon had raised its head up and saw Drakkon do the same.

"Something's not right" I said,and not two seconds after I had finished talking. I did see about fifty or so men mounted on horses and wearing armour,come straight for us. " You liar,you said this wasn't a trap" I said angrily
"I swear to you Y/n,I didn't bring those men" Daemon said,I didn't believe him. I turned and got onto Drakkon's back and he took flight. Only we hadn't got to far off the ground when,arrows are shot up at us.

Daemon's P.O.V

I turned to see who had followed me,and to my annoyance they are Hightower men. Y/n got onto the dragons back then he rose into the air,only for the mounted men to begin shooting arrows at the dragon. One of them hitting Y/n in the leg and causing her to fall off Drakkons back and onto the floor. The great green dragon roared in anger and green flames errupted from his mouth and headed straight for the men. This made the men scatter but they continued to fire arrows at the beast.

"Hold your fire" I shouted at them, several heard me and informed the others. The grass not to far from where Caraxes lay had been burnt to a crisp,and the green dragon now stood protectively over Y/n. I carefully moved closer to Drakkon,I knew he didn't understand what I said before so I said
"Drakkon I know you don't like nor trust me,but if Y/n is too survive she must come with me now" it seemed weird to the men to be talking to a mindless beast,but I know different.

Drakkon's yellow eyes stared right at me,it is like he is contemplating my request. He then looked down at the woman,who hadn't moved since she had fallen. To my suprise the green dragon moves slightly back from Y/n and allowed me to approach her. Thankfully she is breathing but just knocked out. I carefully picked her up and headed to Caraxes
"You can go back to Otto and tell him I'm going to kick his head off" I shouted at the men. Once I sat upon Caraxes's back and Y/n infront of me,my red dragon took to the sky followed by Drakkon and we headed towards Dragon Stone.
