It is one of those very rare occasions where we are still on earth and in the present day,instead of traveling threw time and space. The reason for this is Amy and Rory wanted a day to them selves with out monsters or weird aliens. And with a little bit of persuading from the couple, The Doctor agreed to stay on earth for a day.
"Alright you two,we are ready to leave" Amy calls to me and the Doctor "Can't you spend the day in 14th century Paris instead" The Doctor asks "Nope,not this time" Rory says,The Doctor sits down on the seat near the console folds his arms and pouts like a sulking five year old "Take care of him will you,Y/n" Amy say to me.
"Don't worry I will" I say,I walk to the T.A.R.D.I.S doors with them "Oh and make sure you and the Doctor are here at this location at 7:00pm" Amy says to me quietly, I nod"And no time traveling"Amy adds mainly to the time lord. Once the Ponds have left I walk back up the stairs to the Doctor "Do we really have to stay here?" The Doctor asks me.
"You did promise Amy" I remind him "Fine" the Doctor huffs standing up. This is the first time I had been fully alone with the Doctor. And I have a feeling the Doctor doesn't like me that much but it could just be me,I have trust issues when it comes to friends, except for the Ponds "So what are you doing today?" I ask.
"Don't you mean we,what are we doing" The Doctor corrects me "You want to hang out with me?" I ask "Of course you're my friend and I don't want to be alone" the Doctor smiles at me "You don't have to spend time with me,just because Amy and Rory asked you to" I say.
The Doctor walks over to me "Y/n I'm not spending time with you because of the Ponds, I do it because of how important you are to me" he tells me,his green eyes full of honesty "Thank you" I tell him quietly, the Doctor kisses my forehead and takes my hand "Come on then,let's have our own adventure" The Doctor grins "Geronimo"I say as we run out the doors.
We walk in silence for a few moments,I just look at the greenery around us. I didn't notice that the Doctor had stopped until I walk into him "Sorry Doc" I apologized "What's that?" The Doctor asks,ignoring my apology "Its the canal" "I know that Y/n,I mean those big wooden things" The Doctor points.
"Oh there lock gates,to let the canal boats in and out" I tell him "You humans,what will you think of next" The Doctor smiles,he runs down the stairs and onto the canal towpath and up to the lock gates as a boat waits to get threw. I run up behind the Doctor "Can you young man,push the gate open for me" the old man controlling the boat asks the Doctor.
"Young man,I'm older than him" the Doctor complains "Yes but you don't look nine hundred" I say "Not the time to flirt with me,Y/n" the Doctor winks at me. He takes off his tweed jacket and hands it to me. He then walks over to the gate and begins to try and open the gate but it doesn't move"Y/n hand me the sonic,this gate has developed a fault."
I giggle at him "It hasn't got a fault Doctor, its just you" I say "No it is faulty not me"the Doctor argues,I shake me head at him. I walk over to the gate but stand on the opposite side to the time lord "You're pushing the wrong way" I say tapping him on the nose,I hand the Doctor's jacket back and push the gate opening it right away.
I grin at the Doctor as he pouts,putting his jacket back on "Thank you young lady,might I say you two are the cutest couple I have seen in some time" the old man says waving at us. Me and the Doctor look at each other "I'm not...he isn't..." I stutter.
We carry on further along the canal and come across a family of ducks "Shame there isn't any bread" I say "I have some" the Doctor says,reaching into a pocket and pulling out five slices of bread "Where did you... Never mind" I say,taking the bread and feeding the ducks.
"Mummy look at the cute couple,feeding the ducks" we hear a little girl shout to her mum. I look over to the Doctor and see he is smiling at me. I look away blushing,I've never thought about the Doctor in that way. After we finished with the ducks,we head back along the canal towards the T.A.R.D.I.S. only I remember the thing Amy gave me.
I take it out of my pocket and look at the leaflet for a fair in town "Oh I love fairs" the Doctor says suddenly "Don't do that Doctor, you startled me" I laugh slightly "Sorry dear,didn't mean to" the Doctor says "Did he call me dear?" I think,before I can ask about it the Doctor is pulling me towards the fair.
Me and the Doctor have loads of fun at the fair,we went on loads of rides. We almost got thrown out at one point as the Doctor tried to sonic a ride to make it faster. We walk around holding hands,the Doctor said it was because he didn't want to lose me in the crowd when he suddenly stops and says "Stay put Y/n,I will be right back" the Doctor dashes off somewhere and I just stand there awkwardly.
Ten minutes later the Doctor comes back to me,with something behind his back "Close your eyes and hold out your hands" the Doctor says to me. I do as asked and feel something soft placed in my hands "okay open". I open my eyes and see a light brown teddy bear with bright green eyes and a outfit like the Doctor's,fez and bowtie included

I cut the Doctor off with a hug "Thank you" I say "You're welcome" the Doctor says into my ear "Are we interrupting something" I hear a familiar Scottish voice say. We pull back from the hug and see Amy and Rory "Actually Pond,you are interrupting" the Doctor tells her.
"Oh am I" Amy smirks"Well come on Rory,let's leave these two alone"and with that she drags a confused Rory away "They could have stayed,I don't mind" I tell the floppy haired man.
"Well I do,this is our day Y/n and we will stay like this until bed time" the Doctor tells me "Okay then" I say "Well thanks for being a great friend today" the Doctor frowns at that,which is rare for him "That's the thing Y/n,people all day have said we make a cute couple maybe they aren't wrong" "I don't follow" I say "Oh Y/n,you're one of the smartest humans but you can be dim" the Doctor says.
"Says the time lord who thought football was played with sticks" I sass him "Hush L/n" the Doctor says,before leaning down and kissing me full on the lips. I'm surprised by the action but quickly melt into the Doctor's arms. I put a arm around his neck as the other is holding the bear,as he put his on my waist.
We stand kissing for a good few minutes until "If you two are finished, can we head back to the T.A.R.D.I.S" Rory says "Come on Rory,let the Doctor get some" Amy tells her husband. I pull back from the Doctor's lips and feel my face is burning hot "Come along Ponds let's go" the Doctor says cheerily "Oh and Y/n" I look at the time lord"I'm not finished with you yet."
