Not many people on earth know who the Doctor is,I how ever have met him twice in my life. The first time I was in secondary school, I met the Doctor and his friend Rose and I helped them stop the teachers that where actually robots. Then I met the Doctor again in college with a new look and new friend Martha. At first I didn't recognise the Doctor, but he remembered me.

The first time I saw the Doctor he wore a leather jacket and was a bit grumpy,the second time he wore a blue pinstripe suit with a long brown trench coat. The second meeting, me ,The Doctor and Martha defeated a army of little monsters. It has been a few years since I finished college and I am currently between jobs. I got a message from Jake a old friend from college watching to catch up.

We agreed to meet up at the bowling ally. When I saw Jake I noticed he handy changed since I last saw him. We got some food first and caught up
"Fancy a game?" Jake asks after we had eaten
"Sure why not" I say,the two of us head to collect the shoes we would need. The man behind the counter has his back to us.

"Hey can we get some shoes here?" Jake says rudely, the man turns to face us with a smile
"Jake don't be rude" I say,the young man looks at me and smiles brighter
"Y/n" he said and I look at him confused.

"You know this dork?" Jake asks me,I look more closely at the young man. He has floppy brown hair and bright green eyes. He is wearing a light blue shirt,a matching colour bowtie and suspenders
"No..." I say
"Oh Y/n you always forget" the man says"Remember we met in college a few years ago with those monsters"it the comes to me
"Doctor?" I say.

"Y/n" the Doctor says happily
"What are you doing here?" I ask,completely forgetting Jake
"Oh you know,I got a job" the Doctor says proudly
"You actually work here?"
"Yes ma'am"
"Do you mind,we want to play a game" Jake says irritated.

"Oh I love bowling" the Doctor says
"Do you know how to play" I tease him
"Of course I do Y/n" the Doctor says,coming out from behind the counter, he grabs my hand and heads to the lanes
"Wait Doctor, we need the right shoes" I tell him
"Ah yes".

The Doctor leads me back to the counter and grabs a pair of shoes in his size and getting my pair as well,when I tell him my size
"Where is mine?" Jake glares at the Doctor
"Here" the Doctor says dumping a random pair on Jake,and leading me to a empty lane. I input our names so we know the scores
"Me first" Jake says
"It should be..." The Doctor beings but Jake ignored him.

"Who is he?"the Doctor asks me
"Jake a old friend from college" I tell him
"I don't like him" the Doctor says
"He is more rude than I remember" I agree
"Hey skinny,your go" Jake calls
"Don't talk to Y/n like that" the Doctor says.

"I meant you idiot" Jake snaps
"Oh" the Doctor picks up a ball and rolls the ball straight into the gutter
"Aim away from the side" I tell him as Jake laughs, but the smile leaves his face when the Doctor gets a strike
"Way to go Doc" I cheer
"Lucky shot" Jake grumbles.

I take my go and also get a strike
"Yay" I say happily and the Doctor hugs me
"Why are you here?" Jake demands, glaring at the Doctor hugging me
"I work here" the Doctor says letting go of me
"You're interrupting our date?"Jake says
"This isn't a date" I tell Jake.

"Then why bring me to this dump,if you're not going to put out" Jake shouts
"Don't talk to my human in that way" the Doctor says angry
"Or what?"
"I heard shouting, is there a problem here Doctor?" A new voice speaks,we turn and see a big burly man.

"Yes big Bob,this man is being rude to my human" the Doctor says
"You need to leave" Big Bob says to Jake, after glaring at the Doctor,Jake storms off "Oh Doctor thanks for the fish fingers and custard idea the wife loves it"
"Happy to help Bob" the Doctor says as the big man leaves.

With Jake gone we finish our game in piece,I won but the Doctor said he let me win,I didn't believe him. Once the Doctor's shift is over we head out of the bowling alley
"I want to show you something" the Doctor says taking my hand and leading me down a side street. At the end of the street is a police public call box.

"What is this?" I ask
"Take a look" the Doctor says opening the door. I walk inside and its way bigger
"Its bigger on the inside" I say
"I love when people say that" the Doctor smiles,walking up the stairs and standing by a console "its called the Tardis,Time and Relative Dimension in Space"
"You're a time travelling alien?" I ask.

"Yep,I'm over 900 years old" the Doctor adds
"No way"
"So where to?"
"Excuse me"
"Any where in time and space do you wish to visit?" The Doctor explained
"Why me?" I ask
"For helping to save the day more than once" the Doctor tells me
"In that case,I wish to go..."
