Severus Snape part 3.

A/n the final part sorry it took so long to publish.

Now that I have finally spoken to Severus again,I have a bit of time to think about what I will actually say to him. I know we spoke not to long ago,I mean more about how I feel about him properly. Once Irma Pince comes back I won't be here anymore and we won't see each other again,so there is that to think about. On the way back to the library I come across Hagrid heading the same way.

Whilst Hagrid happily chats away about some animal, I find my self only half listening to him as my mind is trying to work out what to say to Severus when we talk. After showing Hagrid to the books he needs I head to the desk and flop down on the chair,hoping to take my mind off of my upcoming talk. A couple of hours pass and I know detention is over as a group of students head past the library bitching about detention with Snape. I decided now was the best time to talk.

I made my way down to the dungeons towards the potions classroom and I found him still inside the room. I stood in the door way and watched him move about the room,cleaning up after detention. A small stack of papers is stood on his desk awaiting his attention
"You know it is rude to linger in doorways" Severus says without looking at me
"I'm not lingering, merely... waiting" I say walking into the room,it seemed much smaller than when I was last in here as a student.

"I can assume you are here for that talk you asked about before?" Severus says, finally looking up at me once he had reached his desk
"That's the plan" I say taking a seat on the table closest to his desk"I have spent most of the afternoon thinking about what I wanted to say,but I couldn't think of anything "I admit
"Then start with telling me how you feel about me" Severus suggested.

"I thought I made that clear before, I do like you Severus, I like you a lot but not as friends" once I began to talk the rest just fell into place" I wouldn't mind being you know more than friends with you,but let's be honest here. I don't know how much longer I will be here. It could be a day,a week or even a month but sooner or later Pince will be back and I will be leaving again"I finish.

"That may be so Y/n but what about right now" Severus says
"What about it?" I ask
"Well you are here now why not make the most of it,and then when the time comes should you leave we can deal with it then" Severus explained
"Huh I didn't think of that" I admit
"Obviously" Severus says smirking
"So now what?" I ask
"It is time for children to be in bed" Severus says making his way past me,as he does his hand touched my own.

"Excuse you,I am one year older than you mister" I call after him
"You may be older then me Miss L/n, but we both know you don't act like it" Severus says as I catch up to him
"Its not my fault I don't know how to act my age,I've never been this old before" I argue
"Keep telling your self that Darling and one day you might believe it" Severus says, he then steals a kiss and walks off again
"The cheek of that man."
