Red Skull part 3.

I'm not sure what possessed me but I decided to ask Johann what he really thought of me,that way I could deal with the disappointment sooner rather than later
"Johann can I ask you something?" I didn't take my gaze off the water
"You may" from the water I could tell that he is looking at me
"I know I told Mr Cartwright that you are my friend but...I have to know what you actually think of me?" I say.

I had said it and couldn't take it back now,I just had to accept his answer good or bad
"Why are you asking me so suddenly?" Johann asks
"I just...if you hate me you can say so, I'm used to it" I say,he doesn't answer right away. I couldn't tell if that meant I was right or not"You know what forget I asked,you'll end up hating me anyway,I'll see you back at the tower "

Johann's P.O.V

I watched as Y/n walked off,I couldn't figure out why her mood had changed so suddenly. Had I done something wrong? I made my way back to Stark Tower,stopping in the shop to collect the things Y/n had made for me. Along the way I kept replaying our day together and I found no indication of doing anything to upset Y/n in anyway.

When I arrived back at the tower I saw that the other avengers where back,as I am stopped by Captain Rogers and his shield and Stark with his suit. They both had there weapons aimed at me
"What did you do to Y/n?" Tony asks his repulses aimed at me
"I did nothing wrong,I only did as Y/n told me" I say
"Then why did she arrive back looking so upset" Steve asks.

"She asked me what I really thought of her,and then told me to forget she had asked. Her mood changed on its own" I tell the men,they share a look before lowering the weapons slightly
"That will be Y/n's insecurity" Tony says"She wanted to know if you really are her friend Schmidt or not,she has trust issue's like that"
"I see" I said,I now understand why Y/n's mood changed. I am the cause of it but not because of something I had done.

"I will go and talk to her" I said,I made to head inside but Stark stopped me
"Wait until tomorrow, you won't see Y/n again for the rest of the day"

Time skip to next day, No one's P.O.V

Like Tony had suggested Johann decided to wait until the next day to talk to Y/n. He stood in the kitchen leaning against the kitchen counter waiting for Y/n to come in. He is wearing the t shirt and hoodie she had made for him the previous day, they weren't something he would normally where,but Y/n had given them to him so it was different.

Johann stood with his arms folded across his chest with his gaze on the floor,across the room in the living area Steve,Bucky,Natasha and Tony sat on the couches talking
"Anyone heard from Y/n?"Bucky asks the others
"Not yet but I did hear her moving around before" Natasha said
"I seriously hope that Schmidt didn't upset her yesterday" Steve adds looking over to the man in question.

"He said he didn't" Tony says
"And you believed him?"Steve says
"Not really no" Tony says
"What do you think Nat,you're good at reading people?" Bucky asks her
"Oh I know he didn't upset Y/n" Natasha says
"But how do you know, you weren't there?" Steve asks
"You three don't see it do you" Natasha says, the guys all look at her confused.

"Not even you Stark,you're meant to be a genius?" Natasha questions
"Just tell us" Steve said
"Schmidt didn't upset Y/n because he fancy's her" Natasha tells them,Tony,Bucky and Steve all look at her shocked
"How do you know that?" Bucky asks
"His body language" Natasha says simply
"You are certain?" Steve asks.

"Just watch when Y/n comes in here, he will go straight to her and apologize even though he has done nothing wrong" Natasha says, coincidentally Y/n walked into the kitchen at that moment and like Nat had said,Johann walked straight to her and to there surprise he actually hugged the woman
"Damn Romanoff you where right" Tony admits impressed
"Oh and just to put you boys in your place,you might see them kissing in about five or ten minutes" Natasha said confidently.

Y/n's P.O.V

I knew I couldn't hide in my room any longer, I made my way to the kitchen to face him. Johann is stood leaning against the top looking at the floor when I arrived. I had only gone two steps into the kitchen, when he looked up and saw me. Johann moved from where he is stood and came over to me. He then surprised me by actually hugging me
"I am sorry if I upset you yesterday by not answering your question" Johann said into my ear.

His voice sent a shiver down my spine
"I'm sorry for leaving you on your own,I just upset my self" I say,I pull back from the hug and look up to him. I notice that Johann's eyes seemed more of a warm blue colour instead of an icy blue colour, I hadn't seen that happen before
"Can we talk in private?" Johann asks,the two of us walk into the hall way part of the way away from the kitchen so we wouldn't be over heard.

"I guess I owe you an explanation for my behavior yesterday" I say
"Stark said you have trust issue's with friends" Johann said
"Yeah silly thing to get upset over I know,but my former friends have all been jerks" I say
"You are my friend Y/n,you are actually my only friend. You are the whole reason this rehabilitation thing has been some what decent" Johann tells me.

"I'm happy to help" I say smiling at him
"You have helped me in more ways than just being my friend" Johann said
"I have?" I ask,Johann moves closer to me. His right hand rests on my cheek,causing my face to heat up more
"I have a new feeling I would like to try, will you help me?" Johann asks slyly.

"What new feeling?" I ask confused
"Your lips"Johann leans down and connects his lips to mine in a passionate kiss. I know what he had said made no sense at all,but his kiss more than made up for it. His lips are certainly a lot softer than I would have guessed. I place my hands onto his shoulders to steady my self and Johann puts his large hands onto my waist and pulled me in closer to him.

I pretty sure neither Nick Fury or Steve Rogers would have seen this coming when they asked me to babysit Red Skull and who would have thought that the bad guy gets the girl and not the hero.

Bonus part No one's P.O.V

" I have to know if Romanoff was right again? " Tony says
"I doubt it" Bucky said
"This is Natasha Romanoff we are talking about,so I think she is right" Steve adds
"Let's find out" Tony said getting to his feet,the three guys head to the hall way where Y/n and Johann had went earlier
"Son of a gun she was right" Bucky said,half way down the corridor stood Y/n and Red Skull kissing each other like Natasha had said
"Anyone else find that creepy that Nat got two things right about those two?" Tony asks
"A little but I'm not telling her that" Steve says,the three guys are sightly scared of the Black Widow but wouldn't admit it.
