I got out my laptop as soon as I was inside the car and hacked into the camera that had watched over the house we're just inside of.
"Let's be nearby just in case." Jasper said to me and I nodded as I replaced our fight footages with lopped footages for the 48 hours. That's when she and her minions came here.
"And done." I sighed in relief when I re-checked through all the databases that had replaced footages. Looking around I tried to find if there were any other CCTVs in the vicinity but couldn't see a damn thing in the dark.
"Hours passed by? Did the police get here? Why didn't you tell me that it's no use?" Before I could say anything else, Jasper pulled me into a passionate kiss.
The moment his lips met mine, I immediately responded back with just as passion, pulling him as close as I could with my hand at the back of his neck. I had to savor every last of the moments I'm having with Roy and remember how he feels. The texture of his lips, the stubble on his chin, his silky hair.. his sculpted chest.. I will miss every inch of him from head to toe. Especially his brown hazel eyes.
I wish this moment, this passion didn't have to end, ever.
But those wishes can't come true. Wishes never come true. For me they never have, never will. Whatever this was between us, it was always meant to be ephemeral.
Short-lived. Not lasting forever.
After we pulled away from each other he replied, "There were very few people in the houses. But those who were, I asked Ben to gather them and question them to see what they know. He convinced them that a film shoot was happening nearby." So no one filed a complaint? It seems suspicious but right now I don't want to think about anything or anyone else. Just me, Jasper and this moment we're in.
"Venere?" Not bothering to move, I motioned Jasper to continue with his monologue.
"It's finally over. We got the one behind this." Smiling slightly, I just squeezed back his hand in mine.
And this also means, my time here is up.
"Do you know what this means?" We both looked forward and Ben answered his own question instantly through the speaker. "Clubbing!"
"Is- is he serious?" I asked while staring in disbelief. "I think instead of him, you should've taken the motorcycle."
"Look. These few months have taken a turn for the worse. Let me have this one. And this is our tradition, Jas!"
"Then why the fuck are you here? You could've returned with Riley and Chelsea."
"Because my boss asked me to. And unlike someone else, I listen when people ask me to do something very seriously."
"Atleast-" "Enough!" Before I could give a fitting reply to Ben regarding the indirect jabs, Jasper intervened.
"Both of you just calm yourselves while we get back to the hotel."
