Chapter 23

It had been a few weeks since Embry proposed to me it was now April 16th and today was the day. I was so nervous something wouldn't go right for my wedding. I was also nervous Jake would come and ruin it for me. When he found out the wedding was so close he freaked. He said we were too young to get married. I was 17 and I knew this is what I wanted. Jake said he wanted no part in the wedding. He was also pissed my dad wasn't walking me down the aisle but he was never really a dad to me and he told me i'm not the same daughter he raised now that i'm a vampire. Sam was walking me down the aisle and Paul was the best man and he was walking me down too. I wanted Leah to be apart of it but like my dad she thought I was someone else since I changed. I mean a vampire was the reason her dad died so I don't blame her but I didn't have a choice. My sister was the maid of honor so she for everything ready. I got ready for a day i'll never forget. I was so excited I spent all night working on my speech since we were doing speeches instead of vows. Paul walked in my room.
"Hey beautiful" He said smiling
I heard another knock
"Nova?" Sam said
"come in" I said
"Me and Paul got you something" He said
"You did?" I asked
The pulled out a beautiful necklace
"It was your moms" Paul said
"it's beautiful" I said tearing up
"So are you" Sam said
"Yea you're gorgeous" Paul added
They both hugged me tight tearing up
"I'm so proud of who you've grown to be and I'm grateful you have us walking you down the aisle" Sam said
"yea it's a pleasure" Paul said
"Hey no crying guys ima cry too and my makeup is gonna get messed up" I said
"We'll we have to get going" Paul said
"See you in a bit luna" Sam added
They both walked out and the girls came in to finish my hair and put my dress on.
I waited at the doors for my cue. My nerves were bouncing high as I waited for the song to start. Turning page started and Paul and Sam grabbed each side of my arms. I took a deep breath and started walking. I looked up at Embry and saw him tearing up. Almost all of my pack was besides Quil. I was crying seeing Embry. I was now at the end of the aisle and Paul hugged me and kissed my cheek and then Sam hugged me and kissed my head. He gave me to Embry

"You could say your speeches now" Carlisle said
"I've known you for a good amount of time and you've showed me more love than anybody has. Your my best friend and soulmate in one. You make me feel like I don't have to have any insecurities. You've become my safe place. When you hug me I feel like nothing can hurt me. When we talk I feel like all my troubles go away. Nobody has ever made me feel the way you do. This is a forever thing and I promise i'm not giving up on us ever. You're my imprint. You're the person I need in my life.You're the thing I didn't know I was missing. You make me so happy. Thank you for being in my life. Thank you for making me the happiest in my life. Thank you for being the best thing I could ask for. I promise were gone get through anything together and Ima be here every step of the way. We've been through a lot together and that's how I know you're the one for me. Today is the first day of the rest of my life with you. I love you Embry Call" I said crying
"Nova Black I've never met someone with a heart like yours and it makes it hard to be without you. Since we've met you've done nothing but pick me up and help me find myself even when i thought i couldn't and I hope i never lose you. Throughout these years that we've known eachother i've opened up to you more than i have with anyone because i could trust you. We can never take anything serious when we're around eachother or talking but you always make me laugh even when i feel like ima break into tears or wolf out. I'm not letting you go anywhere cause I really found my soulmate my imprint. Everything about you is perfect, your smile, personality, intentions, the way you get excited and talk about everything, and of course your happy dance. I'm happy i get to experience it good days and bad days. You're somebody i can tell anything to without fear I could really be myself around you and you wouldn't judge. Yes i know i'm a lot to deal with and i'm hardheaded but i'm happy you didn't leave, especially when things got hard. "Nova do you take Embry Call to be your husband" Carlisle asked
"I do" I said smiling
"Embry do you take Nova Black to be wife" He asked
"Hell yea. I mean I do" Embry replied
The crowd chuckled and I giggled. We put the rings on eachother and smiled
"You are now Mr and Mrs Call you may kiss the bride" Carlisle said
"May I?" Embry asked holding out his hand
"You may" I said
He pulled me and lowered me down kissing me passionately. Which turned into a small make out as everyone cheered.

It was time for our first dance and the song from tangled played
"this is tangled theme you gotta have the song" Embry said
"You made this all perfect" I said
"You've always talked about having a tangled theme wedding. I just listened" he said
We danced to the song as everyone watched. We sung along softly to it. He said Flynn's part and I sang Rapunzels part
