Chapter 7

She looked at Bella before staring
"Who's this?"
"Bella Swan who else!" Jared chimed
"Hmm. So your the vampire girl"
"So your the wolf girl"
"Not really Luna here is the wolf girl. I'm just engaged to one" She smiled
She put down the plate of muffins and immediately Jared tried grabbing more. I smacked his hand out of the way
"Save some for your brothers. And guest first" She said
Embry looked at me with the same look I gave him earlier "Be nice babe please"
I rolled my eyes before turning to Bella
"Muffin?"
"Sure thanks" She came over
"leave it to Jacob to find a way around sams gag order"
"Um he didn't say anything to me."
"That a wolf thing. Alphas orders get obeyed whether we want them to or not. And check it out. We could hear eachothers thoughts. Except for Nova's cause she has powers" Jared said stuffing his face
I smacked him upside the head and he dropped his muffin on the table
"Hey!" He said picking his muffin up
"Would you shut up?" I said
"These are trade secrets damn it!" Embry said glaring at him "This chick runs with vampires!"
"You can't really run with vampires." Bella remarked "cause they're fast"
I looked at Jared and Embry and giggled. It came so unexpectedly I found it funny
"yea? Well we're faster" Jared said
While Jared was arguing with Bella I looked at Embry. He smiled at me before kissing me softly. I kissed him back. I put my arms over him before deepening the kiss. We kept kissing until we heard Sam
"Jake's right. You're good with weird" Sam said as he walked over to Emily
I got off Embry and ran over to Paul and Jacob who were okay now. I checked both of them to see if they were hurt and when I saw both of them were okay I smacked both upside the head
"Next time don't fight assholes!"
Paul hugged me tightly "Sorry Nov"
I stopped hugging Paul before I went and hugged Jake tightly. After hugging Jake I sat down on Embry again. I looked over at Paul who said "Sorry" and smiled. Sam looked at me signaling me to apologize
"Hey Bella can we take a walk?"
"Yea sure"
Embry looked at me making sure I was calmed down all the way before I went with her alone.
"I'm fine babe" I said messing with his hair
"Just making sure" He kissed me
Me and Bella walked away from the house and sat on a fallen tree
"I'm sorry about what happened" Bella said looking over at me
"I am too. I didn't mean to use my powers on you I just lashed out cause you punched my best friend. I know you were just looking out for Jake but we protect eachother" I replied
"I was worried about Jake and I thought Sam had did something to him but I shouldn't have intervened and I shouldn't have punched Paul."
"Yea. I thought the same thing about Embry so I know where your coming from." I replied looking at the ground
"I see you and him are together now. The day in the shed when you walked out immediately he ran after you and I knew he liked you. I'm glad it finally happened. You guys are cute together" she smiled
"Thanks. I don't mean to sound bitchy but one thing I wish you'd stop is leading Jake on. He's in love with you and I know the moment the Cullen boy comes back you're gonna ditch Jake. I know you can't choose who you love but I wish you'd stop playing with my brothers feelings. He doesn't need to get hurt by you"
I started walking back to the house and Bella followed after a bit. She didn't expect me to say what I did but I didn't like how she used my brother. We got back to the house and I sat on Embry. Jake looked at me suspiciously before walking out with Bella. Sam looked
"What did you guys talk about?"
"Nothing much. Why?" I replied
"Cause she looked scared" Jared said
"I apologized like you asked Sam"
"Okay and then?" Sam asked
"I told her she needs to stop using my brother cause I know the minute the leech comes back she'll drop my brother. I didn't threaten her I simply just told her"
"I can't get mad at you. He's your family and you were protecting him" Sam said
"Well whatever you told her she looks like you threatened her" Paul said
"She doesn't have to. Her face says it all and when her tone gets dark it's scary. I'd probably run off if I got her mad" Jared said looking at me with eyes wide
"Well Nova stood her ground" Embry said before he wrapped his arms around
"Shit what time is it?" I said
"about to be 5 we have the tribe thing today don't we? Since your sisters are coming back home?" Sam asked
"Yea. Ima get ready in my room" I said getting up and heading to my room
"Oh Luna?" Emily said
"Yes Em?" I replied looking back at her
"I washed your jeans" She smiled
"oh Em what would I do without you. You're my angel" I hugged her
