Today was the day. I woke up early and made the boys breakfast. I was trying to calm my nerves by keeping myself busy but I couldn't. Embry came down and kissed me softly before hugging me calming down my nerves entirely. I forgot we could feel what everyone was feeling. I plated the breakfast in the tin trays and the boys came running in. Emily came down from taking a shower and smiled "You cooked breakfast" she said "yea I know you usually do but I figured I would today and give you a break" I said smiling as she came over and hugged me Everybody came and grabbed food and sat down. I grabbed fruit and sat on Embrys lap. He kissed my head softly "Dude calm down" Jared said "yea we could feel your nerves all the way from the yard" Quil added "Dude shut up" Embry growled "Yea. She has a right to be nervous. You have no idea what the Cullens are capable of" Sam added "Yea I don't see you geniuses volunteering to go" Paul said "Yea so ease off" Embry said "Jeez" Quil said "Sorry" Jared added rolling his eyes I looked down before getting up. All eyes were on me with worried looks "I'm gonna go get ready" I said with my head down as I ran upstairs I could hear Embry yelling at Jared and Quil from upstairs. I started the shower then undressed and got in.
I heard a knock at the door "Princess?" "Come in" I said softly Embry opened the door and came in "We don't have to do this" He said "This might be the only way" I replied "We could go without you if your that nervous baby. I don't want you freaking yourself out" He said getting in the shower with me and looking at me up and down "I can't let you guys go by yourself. I'm the reason she was even here. It's my fight with her" I said looking at him He hugged me tightly "I promise if something happens today i'll protect you. It'll all be okay. If Jake acts up i'll deal with him." He said "What if they say no?" I said sadly "They won't. They will do anything to keep Bella and Charlie safe. If they do say no we'll figure it out like we always do. We won't let anything happen to you. Not now not ever okay?" He said I hugged him tighter and kissed him
After getting dressed we left and headed to the Cullens house. The whole way Embry kept his hand on my thigh while he drove. We finally reached the house and Embry opened the door for me "You sure you're ready princess?" "as ready as i'll ever be" I replied "Jake you better not fuck this up. This is your sister we're putting in danger if this goes wrong." Embry said "Well no shit" Jake replied "Just keep it in mind" Embry said We walked up to the steps and met Bella who hugged me softly. She smiled "Let's hope this works" She said "Fingers crossed" I added She knocked on the door and waited Soon the door opened and Embry pulled me next to him as the door revealed Carlisle. He looked at the 4 of us "Hello. It's nice to see you all" he said "Thank you for agreeing to meeting us Carlisle" I said smiling "of course, please come in" He relied He lets us in and led us to the living room. I felt the tension rise as we walked in. We were outnumbered so hopefully this would all go right for us. We went to the living room and he gestured us to sit. "Thank you" Me and Embry said "no problem, everyone will be coming down soon. May i ask, who are you?" He said looking at Embry with a soft look "Oh sorry. I'm Embry. Novas boyfriend" He said holding out his hand Carlisle happily shook it with a smile "It's nice to meet you. You guys have imprinted I assume?" He asked "Yes we have" I replied "aww who imprinted first" A lady asked as she came downstairs "this is my wife Esme" Carlisle smiled "Nice to meet you" She smiled "You too. Embry imprinted first. He phased earlier than I did" I said "You're very strong though. I've never heard of a luna wolf let alone one who has other abilities" Carlisle said "Yea she's pretty rare" Bella said coming down with Edward Soon everybody was in the living room. I heard everyone's name besides a blonde one who didn't seem happy we were here. I understand where she's coming from. We don't have a great past "Hi, I'm sorry for interrupting everyone's day" I said looking around "it's okay" Emmet said "We understand that you have a situation so it's perfectly fine" Carlisle added I saw Jake and Edward glare at eachother so I spoke trying to break it "Yea. I know Bella brought up the idea of us working together the other day and Jake messed it up for us. He was speaking on his behalf only but if you wouldn't mind i'd like to resurface the offer." I said nervously Embry grabbed my hand calming me down before I waited for an answer "we've had bad experiences with wolves in the past" Emmet added "Yes and I do apologize for Paul's behavior. He didn't realize you weren't on Victorias side" I replied "It wasn't just that time" the blonde spoke "I understand but we wanna keep Bella and Charlie safe just as much as you do. Victoria is after me too. I don't want the wolves hurt." I said "so are you saying that you want to help us fight her?" Alice asked "We're willing to do whatever it takes to keep Nova safe." Embry replied "If you'd agree. The pack and I agreed to keep everything cordial between us if you agreed too. We don't want the town people getting hurt including Bella or Charlie. We want this to be over as much as you do" I said with hope "So what is the deal?" Jasper asked "I suppose we could work together, but nobody will get hurt?" Carlisle asked I looked over at Embry who noticed Edward glaring at Jake. He's worried Jake will go off on him and screw this up "We both wanna keep our family safe. We aren't against you and you're not the enemy here so we wouldn't break the treaty. We could take shifts if you don't feel comfortable working together" I said Carlise looked around and everybody but the blonde and Edward nodded their head in agreement. I sighed in relief "alright, we accept your offer" He said Me and Embry got up and thanked them. I noticed the blonde staring at my medusa tattoo. She looked at me with sad eyes
