Chapter 8

I had woken up to Embrys warm body holding me. I kissed him softly
"Ima go set up the shower for us. Emily invited us for breakfast later on. Your sister Rebecca was yelling for you earlier. Rachel told her to fuck off. Oh and Emily said to bring Rachel with us"
"okay. I'll get up in a bit i'm a little sore" I said looking at my legs
"Before we do anything else" He kissed me
"what was that for?" I asked giggling
"I don't wanna make you think I feel any different about you since we had sex. I'm not leaving or going anywhere" he said
He got up and went into my bathroom. I heard the shower come on and he came back out with pills. He smiled at me
"I could get you some juice if you want. We have water right here too"
"I want juice please" I said smiling
He put on his shorts and shirt and went to get me juice. The door barged opened and Rebecca looked at me
"You had sex with him! Are you fucking kidding me Nova!" she screamed
"what's your fucking problem!" I yelled
"You! You're my fucking problem. We're here to be here for dad and you left my party to fuck your boyfriend! Seriously! You're such a fucking slut! I don't know why dad puts up with you!" She screamed
I felt myself getting angry and the ground started shaking. Embry came running into my room and kneeled next to me
"Nova baby calm down. Listen to my voice. I need you to calm down."
"What's happening to her?" Rachel said
"I need you to call Sam" he told her
she grabbed my phone and called him
"What your gonna use your powers's on me?! I'm not scared!" Becca yelled
I started levitating and the glass in my room shattered. All the papers started flying everywhere. The pack rushed over and saw everything happening. I pinned Rebecca against the wall
"Thats enough Nova" Sam yelled
I heard ringing in my ears
"Nova please calm down!" Embry screamed. He grabbed me and I looked into his eyes and snapped out of it
I dropped Rebecca on the ground
"You're a fucking freak" she said before she ran out
"What did I do?" I said scared
"You didn't do anything" Embry said holding me as I started crying. My body was shaking
"Grab some clothes for her and take her back to the house. Nova ima talk to Billy about you living with us for a while. It's not your fault what happened" Sam said
I grabbed some shorts and put them under Embry shirt that I had on
"Boys start packing her room" Sam ordered while walking out the room
"Just pack her clothes and stuff she has a room over at Sam's already bring her desk and her computer. My truck is out front you could use it. We'll take her car to Emily's" Embry said before grabbing me and walking out
He opened the door and I got into the car and we drove to Emily's. When we got there she immediately came out and held me. I started crying as everything came back to me. I fell to the floor and she hugged me while rubbing my back
"Embry go help your brothers pack her stuff" Emily said looking at him
"Are you sure? I don't wanna leave her" He looked at me worried
"i'll keep an eye on her" em smiled

I finally got off the floor and walked inside with Emily. I sat down at the table
"Why does she hate me so much" I asked looking up at Emily
"I don't know sweetheart but it's not okay to talk to someone like that. You and Embry shared a beautiful experience yesterday and she had no right to yell at you about what you and your boyfriend did. It had nothing to do with her"
"I've never acted out like that. I don't understand what happened"
"Sam said the leech is back. You must've felt her presence around and reacted. It's not your fault babygirl"

It's been a couple of days since the incident. Nobody blames me for lashing out but Rebecca and me. I should've controlled it. I feel happier living with Emily. Embry stays over all the time and Emily and Sam respect my privacy. Sam came into my room one night and put down a box of condoms and said "We don't need wolf pups running around until we get rid of the leeches" before looking at me and Embry. Today me and Emily are making breakfast for the boys since they've been patrolling all night. My sisters coming over too. I placed down the trays of food and sat waiting. My sister came in first. She hugged me
"How are you?" She said
"Happier now that i'm not with Rebecca" I said looking down at my hands
The boys came in and immediately Paul's eyes went to Rachel. Oh my god I know that look! I've made that look! I got up and pulled Paul out of the house. He gulped at me and looked down at the floor
"spill. I already know" I said
"I'm sorry Nova! It just happened! I didn't mean to imprint on her but I really like her and it just happened. Please don't kill me!" He said worried
"I'm happy! You're my best friend Paul! This is the perfect thing to happen!"
I hugged him and we walked back in. I kissed Embry before hugging him and Jared looked at both of us eyes wide
"Holy shit!" he exclaimed
"what?" Embry replied
"You got hickeys! Both of you!"
I looked at him and glared
"You didn't tell me!" Paul yelled
"Oh my god" Embry
"It wasn't anybody's business" I said
"Speaking of that I found out why Rebecca was so pissed at you" Rachel said while looking at me serious
"What why?" I said
"She likes Embry. She said she feels like you have everything she wants. She wanted to be the first shifter. She wanted to have abilities, she wanted Embry and she wanted to be moms favorite. So when you got all that she was mad"
I looked at her with confusion
"What the actual fuck" I said mad

The boys went out patrolling again and I sat talking to Rachel. I got a call from Embry. He was crying.
"Em baby what's wrong?" i said worried
You need to come to the Clearwaters
At that second my heart dropped
it's Harry Nova i'm so sorry
no. This can't be happening. I dropped the phone and fell to the floor. This can't happen. I screamed and started crying as Rachel came down to me. Emily was on the phone with Sam and he told her. We got into the car and rushed to Clearwaters. He was hooked up to machines but the line was straight. He was gone. I grabbed his hand crying
"I'm so sorry Harry. You can't leave me." I couldn't get myself together. My father figure was gone. He was more of a father to me than my own dad and he was gone. I looked at Seth and Leah and held them crying. As hurt as I was it was their dad
