Tears Have to Be Shed

Sappha's Pov

We just stood there laughing our heads off. 

"Ah!" I suddenly felt a jolt of pain from my womb.

Everyone stopped laughing and surrounded me.

"Sapphire!" Marvel was the one that spoke up. "Sapphire, what happened? Is it the twins?"

"TWINS?!"

I checked on them using my magic...

"No...no...no!" I screamed and burst into tears. "No! My baby! No!"

"Sapphire..." Marvel gave Ivan Nina and rushed over to give me a hug.

"Marvel...I knew there was something wrong...I just didn't know it was this..."

"What happened?"

"Trio..."

"What?"

"Trio...there were three..one...died..."I said between sobs.

"Oh..Sapphire...I...I'm so sorry...." She hugged me tighter.

Everyone was dead silent. Nobody moved. The only sounds that could be heard were just my sobs and Marvel telling me it will be alright.

Then, Arthur stepped forward and hugged me. I returned the favor and just let everything out. I cried until I couldn't cry anymore.

"It's alright, love. Come on. Let's go home." I looked up at him with my puffy red eyes. I nodded and stood. No one made any objections as we walked out and got into his car and drove off.

"Sapphire, I'm really sorry. It's all my fault. If it weren't for me, this wouldn't have happened. I'm sorry."

"No, if it weren't for you, I would have these two. And tears have to be shed. I don't really know what to say. Whether to say thank you or..."

"Or?"

"Or fuck you." we both ended up talking the rest of the way to his place and we had fun. It's been awhile since I'vie seen his regular smile...and I'm glad...
