Everyone was waiting for Regina to complete her job or lowering the spell around her castle and Kitty was sitting beside Grace on a log with her arm around the girl "mama?" Grace asks looking up at Kitty and the woman hums to let the girl know that she was listening "can... can we go home?" Grace asks and Kitty looks down at her daughter "what do you mean baby?" She asks her daughter slightly confused "back to our house... just to see if the curse kept it... I just... never mind it was a stupid idea." Grace mumbles at the end but Kitty shakes her head "I think it's a great idea sweet girl, we'll wait to make sure Regina gets the spell down and then we'll get your papa and Jack and head to our home to check how about that?" She says and Grace smiles and nods her head hugging her mother "yeah! I like that idea." Grace says and Kitty kisses her forehead "now lets keep this hood up, it's cold in the forest sweet girl." She says gently pulling Graces hood up and Graces smiles and leans against her mother.

Jack was with Jefferson, the man was holding him in his arms and he was drawing in the air with his staff, freezing air particles over Jefferson's shoulder as the man spoke with Neal "I can't believe he just left her... after everything he knows that she's been through." Neal says shaking his head "I hope his ship is worth it... I really do because I already know she isn't going to forgive him... not easily anyway." Jefferson says and Jack frowns, he really liked Hook, Hook didn't look at him like he was a monster, he knew people were scared of him after he froze the pond and Granny's but Hook had never been afraid of him. Hook promised him that he would teach both him and Grace to be pirates... Jack supposed that now that wouldn't happen. "He was scared." Jack says and both men look at the little both who stops freezing the air "what do you mean buddy?" Jefferson asks him and he just starts fidgeting with Jefferson's scarf.

"He's scared to be around mama... he already let her down... more than once... he doesn't know how to be a good father, he's scared that he'll hurt her and Grace. He doesn't want to risk it." Jack says and both Jefferson and Neal look at each other before looking down at Jack "he tell you this?" Neal asks the boy who shakes his head with a smile "no he had a bad dream... I tried to stop it but it didn't work." Jack says and the two men are shocked "come again?" Neal asks as Jefferson repositions the boy so they can both see his face "he had a bad dream... mama was hurt so were me and Grace, he couldn't save us. He's scared but he won't admit it because he's a cool pirate." Jack says and looks around seeing Leafy fast asleep in Snow's arms whilst David hugged them both. "Back to the dream thing kid... you saw... his dream?" Neal says and Jack nods his head with a smile "I see everyone's dreams... I can't really choose not to... I have tried but it never works." He says and Neal nods his head.

"Grace has scary dreams all the time... but I make them go away... I won't let anything upset her." Jack says determined and the two men look intrigued "scary how?" Jefferson asks as they walk around with Neal trying to keep themselves busy "well it always starts out the same, she's with you, mamas not there... and Grace she's telling you not to go but you promise her that you'll be back for tea." Jack says and Neal notices Jefferson breath hitch "it goes a bit funny after that, scary things happen, she's running from someone and she's always so afraid... sometimes she ends up in a cottage with two old people but they die in the end it's very sad... she gets scared that you and mama will leave and you won't ever come back, she's scared it will happen again." Jack says and Neal can see that Jefferson looks like he's about to cry "Hey Jefferson why don't you go check on the girls? See how they're doing." Neal suggests as he takes Jack from the man who nods his head and walks over to where Kitty and Grace are sitting and Neal watches as Jefferson just sits on the other side of Grace and pulls her into a hug.

"Did I say something wrong uncle Neal? I... I didn't mean to make him upset... I promise I didn't." Jack says worried he's going to get into trouble "no you didn't say anything wrong Jack don't worry, no one is angry at you... but kid how long have you been able to do this?" Neal asks Jack who just looks down at his staff as if it's the most interesing thing in the world. "Since Neverland..." He says and Neal nods his head "Okay... we'll think of something that can help you, there's got to be a reasonable explanation..." Neal says and Jack nods his head and Kitty walks over to them as Jefferson walks beside Grace.
