When Kitty got home she face planted onto the sofa, she was exhausted. She felt the couch dip slightly in front of her and she knew it was one of the kids because it wasn't heavy enough to be Jefferson and she looks up to see Grace smiling down at her "hello sweetheart... you alright?" She asks the girl who nods her head and moves to lie down in front of her mother and the girl giggles when her mother starts pulling funny faces at her and Kitty smiles at Grace and the girl just reaches out and gently touches her mothers cat ears and she gets a curious look on her face.

Kitty wiggles her ears and Grace laughs at her mother before they both sit up and Grace cuddles into her mothers side "papas cooking." She tells Kitty and the woman smiles and nods her head "what's he making sweetheart?" She asks Grace who smirks "he's making chicken hot pot." She says knowing it was kitty's favourite meal because back in the enchanted forest it was not always easy to make a big homemade meal but the family often cooked chicken hot pot together and it became a family favourite.

"So my question is, how much trouble is he in?" Grace asks her mother with a smirk and Kitty laughs "oh he's in trouble alright." She says and Grace just nods and continues leaning into her mother "so what's going to happen now? I know Regina didn't cast the curse." Grace says and Kitty looks down at her "how'd you know that?" She asks and Grace just shrugs "she's changed, you can tell." Grace says and Kitty nods her head. "Where's Jack and Anidori?" She asks Grace who points above them "Jack found Henry's book, he's reading her stories about our family." Grace says and Kitty nods and kisses Grace's head as the two still sat cuddled up on the couch.

"I never asked you where you went after me and Jefferson got stuck in Wonderland..." she asks and Grace tenses and hugs her mother tighter and Kitty just rubs her back, she knew this might be a sore subject for Grace but she had to know what happened to her daughter, she was with the charmings when Kitty got back but she had a feeling she wasn't always with them. "I was scared... when you and papa didn't come home, at first I stayed with Carl and Ellie and then I was in town one day to get some things for us because they were struggling to make it town... I came home and their house was wrecked... someone had killed them whilst I was gone, someone in town said there was pirates around... I don't even know what they were looking for! Carl and Ellie didn't have anything valuable none of us did! I was going to ask Grandpa if he had heard anything about it... I know it's a long shot but I just wanted to know..." Grace says wiping her tears away whilst Kitty nods and rubs her back before kissing her head.

"I went to grandpappy when after papa disappeared and I stayed with him and then... he was searching everywhere for you... him and Belle had a fight... then she disappeared and Regina told us she was dead... he went crazy and smashed up some of the castle." Grace says and Kitty nods her head as the young girl takes a deep breath before continuing.

"Snow and David eventually caught Grandpappy when he made a deal with Ashley... and I told David about you and papa because he was gone as well... and David promised to keep me safe until we found you both again and so I lived in Snow and David's castle with them until David found a way to get to you..." Grace explains she had been crying since she mentioned Carl and Ellie and Kitty was rubbing her back to hopefully make her feel better.

"Grace, I swear to you, I will never let anything like that happen to you ever again." She tells the girl who pulls back to look at her mother "your different now... you don't talk all funny like you used to..." Grace says and hits leans her elbow on the back of the sofa and rests her head against her hand "I thinks it's because of how long I spent as Cathy Gold, but I still say some little things I used to... you don't miss it do you? It doesn't bother you that I'm like this does it?" Kitty asks and Grace is quiet for a moment before she shakes her head "no it doesn't... it's just a little bit different." The girl says and Kitty nods her head and they footsteps approaching and Jefferson looks around the door.
