David, Emma and Snow go to get the kids after rushing, Regina, Kitty and Grace to the hospital, Jefferson stayed with his family they drive to see Gold standing at the side of the park by a bush whilst Jack and Henry run around playing and it confuses David "Gold. What are you doing here?" David asks and Gold gives a side eyed glance "Well, my son made it clear I'm to stay away from him, so I'm spending some time with my grandson instead and possibly my new grandson..." Gold says and Mary Margaret looks at Emma "Emma, it's okay. Why don't you talk to Henry and Jack, and we'll handle this." She says and Emma walks over towards the boys "Emma." The two boys say whilst smiling "Henry, Jack, hey." Emma says and the two boys instantly know something is up by how she is acting, David and Mary Margaret are still standing beside Gold trying to figure out how to tell him about his children.
"Mr. Gold, we have some news to share with you, and it's not good." Mary Margaret says and Gold doesn't even bat an eye lid "Not interested." He says and David sighs "It's about your son and Kitty." He says and that gets Gold's attention as he now looks at David "Yeah, what about them?" He asks and David gives him a sympathetic look "Tamara shot him. She shot Neal." He says and Gold takes a second "What? He's dead?" Gold says and David looks down "They used a bean to open a portal. Neal was hurt so badly that he fell through. He's gone." David says and Gold looks over at Henry "Bae wasn't supposed to die... wait you said this was about my children... what's happened to Kitty? Did you find her and Grace?" He asks and David nods his head "we did... Grace had been beaten quite severely and was bloody and bruised and we found Kitty strapped down with wires connected to her connecting to a machine they were using to electrocute her, they're both okay we took them to the hospital, Jefferson's with them right now." David says and Golds eyes darken.
He looks up at David with a dark expression on his face "who." Is all he says and David knows what he's asking "his name was Thomas Kent but don't worry about him, Jefferson... took care of it... Thomas is dead." David says and Gold calms down as he understands what he means and nods his head "but Greg and Tamara—they took something from Regina—a magical trigger. A fail-safe in the curse that could destroy Storybrooke." He says and Mary Margaret nods "If they activate it, it's a self-destruct. Everyone not born in this world will die." She says and David sighs looking back at the man "I know this is hard, but we need your help." David says and Gold doesn't even move when giving his answer "No." he says and David is shocked "They killed your son in cold blood, tortured your daughter and Granddaughter and you don't wanna stop them?" He says in disbelief and Gold shakes his head.
"They didn't kill my son. I did. I brought magic to this world to find Bae, and now he's dead. Magic always has a price, and this—this is it. But I'm prepared to pay it. And you said Jefferson dealt with the other man so there's nothing for me to do... that's the first right thing that hat boys done in his life." Gold says with a scoff and Mary Margaret just can't understand "But... We'll die. You'll die!" She says and Gold nods his head "Well, I've made my peace with that. You don't get it do you? My daughter hates my guts and so does my granddaughter, the woman I love doesn't even remember me... I have no reason to help you Charmings." Gold says and he walks away, David looks over to see Henry and Jack crying with a small cloud forming over jacks head and snow falling from it quickly as the young boy got upset and David is quick to run over and try to help.
"Jack! It's okay buddy. We're gonna take you to them right now okay? Calm down buddy it's okay." He says and the young boy control his sobs and the snow eventually calms down and stops with the cloud disappearing and David is quick to take the boys to the hospital with Snow and Emma. They walk in to see all three girls looking a lot better "Henry!" Regina calls out the same time Kitty does "Jack!" She says with a smile and the young boy runs to hug her as David walks over "you look a lot better, you both do." David says looking at Grace who was curled up in her fathers lap "blue used her magic to heal us, it's just a few aches and minor bruises now... Grace just can't get it out her head." She says and David nods and looks over at the girl sadly, Jack pulls away and climbs onto the bed squeezing in between Jefferson and Kitty to sit between the two people who he felt safest with.
