Poem

Standing in the shower as the water falls down.

Watching the droplets disappearing, never being found.

Heartache of roses that burn within my soul.

When the past and whispers make my mind fall.

There's a forest inside turned to ashes,

As my thoughts and life turn to scratches.

Scars on my wrist for when I felt alone,

Never understanding the true meaning of home.

For those days I craved for the attention.

But the words I said we're never my redemption.

There's a fire still burning it can never go out.

For my voice is quiet I'll never be as loud.

There's a fire inside burning all day, the water from the shower can't make it go away.

There's a fire inside as I curl up and pray. I can't help but feel afraid.
