Chapter 7: Training but for the boys

We were in the forest "alright, training starts now" Kakashi sensei said "first, we will begin with a review of chakra, the ninja's main source of power. Understanding chakra is essential-" Sasuke interrupted Kakashi sensei "we already know that" I nodded "he's right. A long time ago we learned about uh 'katchra'" Naruto said "chakra" Kakashi sensei corrected.

After explaining to Naruto what chakra is. "what's the big deal with all these complicated explanations, the whole point is to learn the jutsu isn't it" Naruto complicated "Naruto is right for once, we are already using chakra energy in our jutsu" I shake my head

"they are used in other different stuff but any jutsu actually" I said, Kakashi sensei nodded "you haven't mastered this power, you barely used the surface of it" Kakashi sensei said "what do you mean?!" Naruto asked in confusion

"calm down and listen. You have to draw on 4 physical and spiritual energies and then combine them within yourself, but how do you do that? Each jutsu requires different types of chakra in different portions. You must select and combine them in exactly the right way. Up till now, you've just guessed the portions hoping they come out right, even if you produce a lot of chakra, unless you can balance and control it, it's all worthless...the jutsu won't work at all or it will be just a joke. You waste so much energy that way, then you're out of chakra and you can't fight at all, you're just a target" Kakashi explained

"uh...so how do we change that?" Naruto asked with an awkward laugh "Train hard that controlling your chakra becomes second nature, to achieve this goal you must be ready to put your life on the line" Kakashi sensei said

'Itachi sure enough said a lot of things with chakra and made me exhausted that I don't want to hear it from him again' I smiled at the thought "that bastard" I muttered "who?" Sasuke asked "uh...someone but no one here I promise" I said with an awkward smile. He nodded then looked away.

"what do we have to do?" sakura asked "climb a tree" Kakashi sensei said "climb a tree?" everyone repeated "that's right but there's just one rule. No hand" Kakashi sensei said 'remind me of my good awful suffering days' "what you're kidding?" sakura said "am i? let's see" Kakashi sensei said

He made a hand sign and walked to a tree with both of his canes and started to walk on it like it's a floor. "he's climbing" Naruto said "straight up and he is only using his feet" sakura completed "well you get the idea. Focus the chakra toward the souls of your feet and use it to connect to the tree. This is one way to apply the power of chakra" Kakashi sensei said "wait a minute that's a nice trick but how does it help us fight Zabuza" sakura said "it's the only way to fight him sakura. That's the entire goal of this training"

Kakashi sensei said and started to explain what to do while I ignored most of it. We took a kunai to get ready to mark our highest spot "okay ready?" Kakashi sensei asked

"I'm more than ready. This is gonna be no sweat all the way sensei, believe it. Remember sensei you said I'm the one who grown the most" Naruto said "you definitely are the one who talks the most now get focused and do it"

I did a hand sigh and ran up to the top of the tree 'well I made it first...why are they still at the transfer chakra part' my eyes went dull "great job Mizuki" Kakashi sensei said "thank you" I said with a smile 'I guess all that hard work wasn't for nothing' I took the kunai and marked my spot "hey losers up here" I stick out my tongue.

After a second or so I saw sakura up the tree as well "way to go Mizuki and you too Sakura!" Naruto said while Sasuke didn't look pleased at all "good luck you two" I chuckled.

Naruto and Sasuke got competitive 'these two are going to be something when they are older' I smiled
