The person who made me love my name more than anything. It's  this boy who worked in Lauricii's grandfather's bookstore. He was different from the others.

Our meet :

I was going to buy a book (I'm a fan of reading) and I saw him.

He had blonde hair and some brown highlights. Clear honey eyes, a perfect smile. He looked like prince charming in light academia style. He must have been straight.

- Hello, are you coming to get a book ? he said, opening a box of books.

I was struck by him beauty and him style.

- Hello, can you hear me ? Mr. Lavender ! I think one of your regular customers is there !
- Oh no no. Sorry, my mind was elsewhere.

A cute smile appeared on his face. Mr. Lavender arrived.

- Oh well, Eden, what are you doing here this late ?
- It's not that late. I said, taken off guard.
- I'll leave you in Fox's hands.

Fox.

The old man gone.

- So your name is Eden. I'm delighted to meet you.
- Likewise, Fox.
- It's a stupid name. he said, laughing nervously as he put the rest of the books away.
- I hate Eden.

He stopped and turned to me.

- Eden is beautiful though.
- Fox, it's cute.
- Do I look like a fox ?
- It's true that it doesn't really work.

He laughed.

- I think you just made my thoughts interesting.
- They weren't initially interesting ? I said feeling myself blush.
- My name is Fox Quinn.
- Oh like Harley Quinn !
- Fan of DC comics ?
- Um, a little but she is extremely well-known.
- I think you are much more mysterious than you want to admit.
- My name is Eden Diallo.
- Okay, Mr. Diallo, what did you come to look for ?

He seemed distant as if he had never had any complicity.

- How old are you ? I said, trying to restart the conversation.
- What ? he said, placing a book.
- Your age ?
- I'm seventeen years old.

I was only fifteen.

- And you ?
- Fifteen. I said, almost embarrassed to admit it.
- You looked taller. he laughed.

Someone enters the bookstore.

- You are here. said a male voice.

A guy who must have been ten centimeters taller than me looked at me and looked at Fox.

- Are you finishing soon ?
- I finished five minutes ago. he replied to this guy.

This guy was him opposite. He was dressed in a dark style. He had a scar on his left eyebrow. He was handsome, much more than me.

DAMN I WOULD LIKE TO UNDERSTAND WHY IT'S ALWAYS THE HANDSOME ONE DATING

(I DON'T KNOW IF THEY'RE DATING, OKAY !)
( At this moment... )

- I need a fantasy. I said nervously.
- Oh my favorite style. said the tall brown hair.
- It's not the best style for someone like me. Fox smiled.
- You just have to be more open-minded.
- He said. blew Fox.

Fox took my hand and led me to the front of the fantasy bookcase.

- Take all the time you need. he smiled.
- But you're finished.
- I was finished before you arrived.

He stood behind the counter and spoke with the dark-haired teenager.

I took one at random and went to the counter.

- I'll take this one. I said, taking out my credit card.
- Good luck figuring it out-
- Shut up, Benjamin. said Fox nastily.

Fox took it from me, read the back cover and slipped something inside.

- I give it to you. he said, handing it back to me.
- I can pay.
- I finished work. he said as he walked me outside.

When the door was closed, he said to me.

- Benjamin is my friend.

He thinks.

- I don't know why I'm telling you this but I think I had to tell you.

Completely lost because I didn't yet know it was possible

- I hope you like this book, Eden.
- Goodbye, Fox.

He entered the shop. I returned home. When I finally got out of my room. My heart was beating wildly.

I have read this book a thousand times or more. I always have it with me.

I told this anecdote to my father. He laughed and explained to me how he saw the story. I only remembered one sentence.

- I'm sure he likes you.
