The dorm room was almost empty, with the only presence being Wednesday sleeping soundly on his bed. You decided to change into something more comfortable, opting for black jeans, a cozy Grinch scoop neck sweater in holiday colors of red and green, red fluffy socks, and black tennis shoes.

You changed your clothes quietly, careful not to disturb Wednesday's peaceful slumber. Taking a moment to admire his snow-soft, delicate features, you tiptoed to the door and locked it behind you as you stepped out into the hallway.

As you looked out of the windows in the girls' dormitory, you were greeted by the glorious sight of the sun rising in the distance. Mesmerized by the beauty of it all, you couldn't help but take glances at the stunning view in front of you.

The once green grass-filled school courtyard was completely covered by a blanket of pure white snow, creating a serene winter wonderland. As you gazed out, you could feel a chilly breeze brushing against your face, reminding you of the coldness outside.

As you strolled through the campus, taking in the sights and sounds around you, you eventually found yourself standing outside the shared kitchen of the boys' and girls' dormitory. The building was impressive, with its grand structure and spacious interior housing two large kitchens, several bathrooms, a dining area, and a cozy lounge.

As you stepped inside, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. As you looked around, you saw Enid sitting alone at one of the dining tables, her hands wrapped around a steaming cup of coffee. Seeing her instantly brought a smile to your face, and you made your way over to her.

As you walked down the entrance, the wooden floorboards beneath your feet let out a symphony of creaks. As you approached her, she quickly turned around, startled by your footsteps. However, her expression relaxed as soon as she saw it was just you. You couldn't help but smirk at her reaction before letting out a soft chuckle.

"Hey there, Enid. I was wondering where you disappeared to. I thought you left to go home on the first train for Christmas break." I said to her with a smile.

"Girl, you scared me. I don't think I'm going to go home for Christmas I'm not in the mood to deal with my obsessive mother." Enid said with a sigh as she rubbed her eyes on the brink of tears.

"Hey hey, what's wrong? What happened?" I asked Enid as I moved over to the seat right next to her leaning forward in the seat.

"I'm fine, Y/N. You don't need to worry." Enid said with tears running down her face.
