𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚'𝒔 𝑷𝑶𝑽:

On a brisk and chilly day, the sun struggled to peek through the thick clouds that filled the sky. I found myself holding onto my black cello case and strolling along the sidewalk that ran parallel to the Joseph Crackstone statue in downtown Jericho. It was a special day, marked by the Outreach ceremony, and the streets were bustling with people who were eagerly participating in the festivities. Despite the weather, the atmosphere was warm and lively, and I couldn't help but feel invigorated as I walked among the crowd.

I thought nothing scared me, but that was before I stared into the eyes of Joseph Crackstone. I don't believe in heaven or hell. But I do believe in karma and revenge. I usually serve it warm with a side of pain, but I've never faced an adversary cast in bronze. - I thought as I looked at Joseph Crackstone's water fountain statue.

I glanced away from the water fountain as I heard tapping on the concrete. My eyes were met with Thing. Thing tapped in sign language asking if I was ready to which I nodded my head in agreement. Thing held his thumb up in agreement. I walked away from Thing and Joseph Crackstone's water fountain statue with a last glance.

I looked around as I walked over and sat in a black chair that was set in the grass specifically for me. About a dozen or more teachers were sitting in white chairs on a red long stand. 2 dozen band players were sitting under a large white gazebo in red and white uniforms. Weems and Mayor Walker stood behind a microphone stand a few feet in front of Joseph Crackstone's water fountain statue.

The band and I were playing a mellow song in the background in a peaceful but loud enough volume for the crowd to hear which made them quiet down after Weems gave the crowd of students a nasty glare before going right back to her smile that was already on her face seconds ago.

I glanced over to the bleachers where all the adolescents were seated looking for a particular person.  The crowd of adolescents was rowdy as they were speaking to their friends and laughing obnoxiously. Enid was sat next to Ajax talking his head off as he nodded his head trying to keep up with her conversation with an awkward but sweet smile. I looked thoroughly through the crowd until I saw Y/N sitting by herself around random people with Xavier staring at her a few seats down from her. She was sat on the bleachers with a bored expression as she scrolled through her telephone.

Our eyes met and I found myself lost in the deep chocolate-brown pools of hers. Suddenly, she looked up from her phone and flashed me a warm smile. I couldn't help but tilt my head at her as she waved at me. I squinted my eyes, returning the gesture with a nod of my head.
