Some day in the FAR AWAY future

"Eomma! Eomma! Look what I found!" The woman in the living looked up from iPad and smiled at her daughter.  It was safe to say that to six year old Eunji she had the coolest mom.  Her mom even had pink hair!  And she always sang lullabies go Eunji before bed.  And if her dad got home early enough her dad would join too.

"Yeah, Ji?" Her mom noticed the black leather book in her daughter's hands. It was almost comical, way the book was half the size of Eunji.  If her daughter wasn't careful, Eunji could quite literally tip over and land face first on the floor.

The small girl giggled and pulled herself onto the couch next to her mom. Eunji set aside the book and peered over her mom's arm. "Mom, what are you drawing?" She tilted her head curiously at the colorful drawing. Her mom was always really good for drawing. It was her job after all!

Her mom hummed and placed her arm over Eunji to bring her into a hug as she continued sketching. "I'm just drawing a new design." She explained, pressing a kiss to her daughter's head. "What did you have to show me?"

Eunji grinned as she just remembered what she had to show her mom. "Yeah! Look what I found in you and appa's closet!" She said excitedly.

"Oh?" Her mom chuckled, "And what were you doing in my closet?" She tickled at her daughter's shoulder.

"Eomma! Stop!" Eunji continued laughing until her mom stopped ticking her and ruffled her hair. "I was just bored!" When her mom raised a suspicious eyebrow, Eunji flushed. "I wanted to find my christmas gifts..." She said with a pout.

Her mom laughed, "Oh sweetie, you must learn by now that santa doesn't drop off your gifts until Christmas Eve!"

"But minhae said that you would have gifts in your closet..." Eunji mumbled making her mom frown. She would have to solve this Christmas crisis later. She remembered when she found out Santa wasn't real and well... it gave her tremendous trauma for a 7 year old.

"Okay, but show me what you found!" Her mom said feigning impatience making Eunji giggle. Eunji reached over and placed the book between her lap and her mom's. "I found these old photos!"

Her mom gasped as she opened the book. Inside was a bunch of colorful photos with scribbled notes and dates. Each page was used up. Not a single white spot shown through the bright colors of ripped paper and colored tape. "And look there's appa!" Eunji pointed to a polaroid with a boy with prominent dimples and a bunny smile. Holding up a thumbs up to the camera. on the bottom of the polaroid was a written date with a heart.

"Oh!" Eunji snagged the book from her mom who was just in awe. "And there's you!" She flipped a couple pages over and showed a young girl who was making a peace sign next to a potted plant.

At the bottom of the polaroid was also a little date. But there was also a name. Chaeri <3

Eunji continued flipping through the pages showing Chaeri every photo. And Chaeri remembered each one. "There's uncle Heeseung and appa!" Chaeri smiled softly. She had caught Heeseung off guard when she told him to turn around. Jungwon had interrupted the photo by peeking his head behind Heeseung.

"Uncle Jay and uncle Sunghoon." She pointed to the very silly polaroid of Jay trying to climb the lockers of the Tamed-Dashed set. Chaeri held back a laugh as she remembered that Jay took a particularly hard fall right after she took the photo.

"Uncle RiKi looks so young." Eunji said with a giggle pointing to the photo of NiKi falling asleep on Jake's shoulder. In the very early days. Before they even debuted. NiKi was just so tired that he fell asleep on Jake's shoulder when filming Given-Taken. And there was another one on the page right next to it. Sunoo posing for the camera.  She had stolen Daniel's Polaroid to take picture. Chaeri had scoffed when Sunoo told her to take another one because she didn't get his "good side." But she kept this one just for fun.
