𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐄

"Cute isn't it?" Chaeri asked, petting the soft black bunny plushie in her hand.

"2022," She mumbled, "One crazy year." A small smile was visible on her face, "We got to see so many Engenes this year.  Covid-19 got a lot better.  We all worked very hard to make this year special for all of us. 

A chuckle escaped Chaeri's lips as she grinned at the camera, "Ah, how many live performances have we had now?  At least twenty.  2022 went by fast.  But also not really.  I keep forgetting that we released Blessed-Cursed this year.  And that our two year anniversary was not too long ago." Her eyes widened, "Wow, I'm going to be 20." Her smiled faltered, "Wait no... since we're adopting the international age system... I'm going to be 19.  An adult."

Chaeri shook her head, smiling at the camera, "Can't believe two years flown by so fast.  I'm happy though.  Content.  We held so many live events.  Got to see so many Engenes, after having to debut without a crowd.  It felt like debut all over again, seeing you guys live for the first time."

"Since it is the flu season, I hope none of you get sick and stay warm for the holidays.  See your friends and family." Chaeri frowned slightly, "I'm going to be spending it away from my family, most of them at least.  They can't come here to Korea, so it'll just be me and my parents for the holidays."

"I hope you guys have a very lucky and prosperous 2023.  Regarding the pandemic and Covid, I hope that starts to lighten up.  Two years seem like a long time."

"And lastly, I hope Engenes, or whoever is watching this, is happy.  I know 2022, 2021, 2020 was hard for many, but we made it to 2023.  I wish that we reach all our goals.  They don't have to be big goals, just simple little things.  Spend some time with friends, family, make memories, try new things... that seems like a good year, huh?"

She hummed, "My goal, is for all of us to stay healthy, for Enhypen to continuing growing with our Engenes.  Personally, this is more of a fun goal, I want to cut my hair." Chaeri laughed, "Ah I'm sorry that was sudden.  But I just think it'd be cool, with shorter hair.  I think I'll end my message here."

Chaeri held up the black bunny to the camera and waved to the camera, "Happy New Years, Engenes~"

[Happy new years, all of you! 🥰 idek why, but thinking about it, 2022 was a really important year for me.  School wise, personal growth, etc.  and I just want to end it on a happy note. 

In many ways, Chaeri is like me, anxiety, constantly over thinking, lots of doubt.  But like her, I have many friends and family who love me. 

I know 2022 was hard for a lot, but it's 2023, we made it this far. 

I'll post a new chapter of I-Land's Angel in a couple days!
