I stared at the crowd from where we were backstage. There were so many people. Here, for us. Just seeing all the fans in the crowd made my skin crawl.

"Chae."

I jumped in shock when a hand touched my shoulder. I turned around and saw Jungwon.

Jungwon frowned and cupped my face, "Hey, are you okay? You look pale."

I nodded, "Yeah, just-" I let out a breath.

"It's scary?" Jungwon guessed, reaching to hold my hand.

"Mhm.  It's the first in person fansign.  Where we have to individually talk.  No script.  We just revealed to everyone we're dating a couple days ago.  And-" I sighed.  My thoughts were all jumbled in my head.

Jungwon traced circles on my hand with his thumb, "If you need to take a break, you can.  we talked about this with the company.  If you feel any sort of panic or anxiety, you can just tell one of us and you can come back here."

I bit my lip anxiously and looked at the crowd, "I know.  I just don't want to disappoint them.  They're all so excited.  I don't want to mess up."

Jungwon smiled, "Don't worry about that.  Engenes love you.  And they understand and know about how you feel about crowds."

I let out a breath, "I hope."

Jungwon kissed my forehead, "You'll be okay."

"1..2.. connect! Hello we are Enhypen!" Seeing everyone was really nerve racking but the excitement I had when all the Engenes cheered for us was unmatched.

My hands were shaking and I was having a hard time staying still. But I tried not focusing on that and just went along with everyone.

I sat down between Sunoo and NiKi, "Noona, you're doing okay right?" NiKi whispered.

I nodded and gave him a thumbs up, "Doing fine-"

"SONG CHAERI!!" I flinched at the yell but then I smiled widely at the girl. I recognized her from one of our fan calls.

"Chaeri, say something into the mic." Sunoo urged.

I hesitantly picked up the microphone that was given to me, "Is it working?" I asked quietly.

"YES!"

My eyes widened. I didn't expect them to be so reactive. I set back down the mic and just listened to the boys talking to the crowd while we wait for the signing part of the meet to happen.

"Jungwon-ah! Are you actually dating Chaeri?!" A fan yelled, and despite the masks I could tell they looked annoyed.

I shrunk down in my seat. I knew the question would come up, but it still made me uncomfortable.

Jungwon grabbed the microphone, "If someone has a problem with that, they can leave." He shrugged before putting the mic down. No one left, but everyone seemed shocked.

The signing part of the meet started and fans started lining up. I took a deep breath and leaned back in my chair.

Sunoo patted me on the shoulder, "You doing okay?"
