Chapter 35

It's been one more week now and most things are back to normal, everyone is still sad but they are going on with their lives now. Me and Ace are talking, like 2 days after the funeral we didn't talk so much but now we are talking normally again.

Me and Ace are in the kitchen, its morning around 9am. Ace was making breakfast and I was drinking coffee "Can you go and wake Lilly up? we shouldn't let her sleep in so long" Ace asked me "sure" I said and finished my coffee before heading to Lily's room.

Lilly still had nightmares sometimes but it was getting better. I opened the door to her room and saw her peacefully asleep with the night lamp making stars all around her room. I sat down on the bed beside her and started to stroke her hair. "It's time to wake up honey" she opened her eyes and immediately pulled her hands up to rub her eyes.

she then wined and sniffled "mama, me no feel good" I felt her forehead and she was burning up. "my babe" I said and picked her up, she clinged onto me. I didn't change her clothes becuse Iwanted her to be comfortable, we walked down the stairs and Ace was placing out breakfast for both of us he probably wouldn't eat.

He looked up and immediately knew something was wrong "what wrong, mariposa(butterfly)'' It's a new nickname Ace has started to call Lily becuse she really liked butterflies and tried to catch them all the time. Lilly made grapy hands to Ace and he took her from me "me no feel good" Lilly said and wiped her nose with her long sleeve shirt.

Ace looked at me "She is sick" Ace groaned "i'm so sorry mariposa but I need to go to work but I be home as fast as I can and with a present" He said, Lilly only nodded her head Ace put her in her high chair before kissing me and saying bye and leaving.

Lilly was picking at her food. I sat down next to her "you need to eat Lilly '' I said she only shook her head "Lilly you ne-" I got interrupted by her throwing up on herself, the floor, teh high chair and on me. she started to cry after that, I got a towel from the kitchen and started to wipe away anything that was on her. I threw my shirt off and picked her up. We went to the bathroom and I undressed her while the bathtub was filling with water.

I put her down in the tub and put some bubbles and toys in there to "can you stay ehr alone for a minute while I get cloths for both of us?" She nodded her head while playing with a rubber duck. I ran to my room first and got changed into some sweatpants and a shirt. I took one of my shirts for her to wear. I then went to her room and got her some underwear and shorts.

When I got back into the bathroom Lilly was leaning her head against the wall and trying her best to keep her eyes open. I went to her and quickly cleaned her before wrapping her in a towel and drying her off. When she was all dried I put her clothes on and put her hair up in a tiny bun. I went to the living room and put her down on the couch. She was already asleep so I pulled a blanket over her before going to the kitchen and cleaning the mess up.

I then went to the bathroom and got her and my clothes to the laundry room, I put them in the mask and turned it on before going downstairs. I got a bucket, some tissues and two water bottles, I put it down in the living room and sat down next to Lilly. I put a Disney movie on becuse if she wakes up I don't want her to see a murder documentary.

Two hours rolled by and Lilly hadn't woken up, so I put the next movie on and went to the kitchen to make some soup. It only took 15 minutes becuse it's soup. I put the soup in two bowles and made my way to the living room again.

I put the bowles carefully down on the table before waking Lilly up, her eyes fluttering open as I called her name while stroking her head. "feeling a little better?" she shook her head, I didn't want to show her I was worried so I only smiled "that's okay, lets eat okay?" she nodded her head and I helped her eat and then ate myself.

When I was done eating, I let her pick out a movie and she chose WALL.E It's honestly one of the best movies Disney and Pixar made.

I went to the kitchen and did the dishes, cleaning the kitchen a tiny bit before going back to Lilly. we snuggled together on the couch, she was staring right at the screen hugging her stuffed dolphin while she was curled up against my chest.

Many, many hours went by and the time was now 5 pm. We haven't done anything except watch movies. I did some work while she watched the tv.

The front door opened and I turned to see Ace, he was holding a small bag and I figured it was for Lilly. Lily didn't notice he was home becuse she was too into the movie.

Ace pov:

I got out of the car. It feels wrong going to work when your own daughter is sick but I have to go to work today. I have a lot of important meetings. I went into the warehouse, everyone I walked by nodded in respect.

I got to my office and started to do paper work after 1 hour of that I had a meeting and it was so fucking long to 4 fucking hours! but it was important, someone from my mafia was stealing from us and we needed to find out who it was.

I looked at the security cameras and it was a girl, she was wearing a hood and was stealing our guns and putting them in a bag before leaving. I called some of my men to look into it and find who it was and bring them to one of the cells.

The time was now around 4:30 and I needed to buy Lilly a present so I got to my car and drove to the grocery store to buy her candy. I know it's a shity present but she will love it especially when she is sick. I got different kinds of candies before paying and driving home.

I got home and opened the front door. When I closed it I saw Aurora looking at me from the couch. I could see some hair beside her and figured it was Lilly. I went over to them and gave Aurora a kiss and then gave Lily a kiss on the head and that's when she noticed me.

she stood up in the couch and I picked her up "how is my little mariposa feeling?" I asked her, she put her head on my shoulder and slightly shocked it "bad?" I asked and she nodded, I placed her down on the couch and the bag next to her "it's for you, open it" I said, she opened the bag and her eyes lit up a little bit and she took some gummy worms.

Aurora took the bag so she wouldn't eat all the candy "she throwed up, right after you left" Aurora said when we got to the kitchen, I signed and nodded my head "have you given her any medicine?" I asked and Aurora shocked her head "I wanted to see if it was going to get better and she is the same, I give her some before she goes to sleep" I nodded my head, I walked over to her and graped her waisted I pulled her into me and but my head in her neck giving it light kisses.

"And how are you feeling?" I mumbled. "I'm fine, just worried about Lilly" I hugged her harder and turned her around, I gave her a passionate kiss. "me too"
