Song: Not another song about love - Hollywood Ending

...............................

I bursted into laughs as he made his way back to our seats and his scores were shown off at the screen above us. A giant 0.

"Seems like we've finally found something you really suck at. It was about time."

I swear that at that moment his cheeks were getting red. Was he blushing? Adorable.

"Shut up." he mumbled, but it only made me chuckle again.

"No, no, no. Wait. No wonder why you've never came here-"

"Well," he cleared his throat and rose an eyebrow "You're not so good yourself."

"Actually, Hay-Hay. I threw two skittles. Two! How many have you?"

He snorted, obviously avoiding the answer, and the redden deepened. "Whatever."

I smiled slowly, sliding closer. "You know, we can always ask for them to pull up the railing." I'd proposed that when we entered but he said that railings are for pussies. Well, I guess pussies know better.

"Not as I'm around." he sentenced and I couldn't help but giggle.

"You're the stubbornest person I've ever met."

He glared at me, sprawled in his seat beside mine and gesturing to the balls. "I'm afraid it's your turn. Will you please..."

I jumped off the chair. "Gladly."

This time the ball went completely diverted and it almost dodged all the bowling pins. In the end it hit one and when it fell with a thick thud I smiled like I'd just won the lottery. Amusement was sparking behind Hayden's eyes when I turned around. Something in that whole environment was making me so happy that I took the hem of my pullover and bowed. That was it, this time he couldn't fight the grin anymore and he let out a true laugh. And that sound... Oh, my God, the things that sound did to me. It shook me completely an made me equally his with my own.

"This is not our game, I guess." he chuckled.

"Speak for you. I'm in the lead and you're gonna owe me a dinner."

"We'll see about that."

And, God, we did see it. In the end, after ten more shots I only got down four more skittles. He got to hit one, but it was so soft that it only shook a little before it stood on its place again like nothing'd happended.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!"

Watching Hayden loose it, snapping and cursing was hilarious, but eventually I had to calm him down before they kicked us out. We even try the whole, me behind him to instruct his movements, but the focus of that turned into something completely different if you get what I'm saying... In short, none of us made our best game that night.

"I think we've probably made a record" I said casually when we were returning our shoes.

"You think?"

"Mh. We must've been the less scored game in this place for at least a long, long time."

He rolled his eyes and looked away. I couldn't help but smile just at the thought of him blushing again. I turned to the guy behind the desk.

"Excuse me," I asked "Do you know if there's a top of the worst games in here?"

"Pardon me?" he blinked astonished and Hayden snorted.

"You know what I meant?" I continued. "Like a wall of the shame or something on that line."

"S-sorry, miss, but we don't." he looked like he was questioning my mind state.
