Right now Kate and I are at a coffee shop with Iris and Eddie.
I grab some drinks and join them again.
Iris: Wow. This ring is beautiful.
Kate: Thank you.
Iris looks at me.
Iris: Y/N, you have great taste. Eddie, start taking notes.
He chuckles.
Eddie: I will, but your engagement ring was beautiful too.
Iris: True. So, break it down, how'd it happen?
Kate: Well, after dinner last night we went back home. Y/N sang to me, then he proposed.
Iris: You sing?
Y/N: Not as good as your dad.
She laughs.
Kate: It was amazing.
Y/N: Yeah, it was.
Just then I get a call from Ellie.
Y/N: Sorry, guys. One sec.
I walk away to take the call.
Y/N: Hey, El. What's up?
Ellie: Y/N, I'm gonna be bring a guest by to the Spider Cave. It's important.
Y/N: Who is it?
Ellie: Lisa Snart. She needs Spider-Man's help. Captain Cold's been kidnapped.
I sigh.
Y/N: Okay, take her to the cave. I'll suit up and meet you there.
I hang up.
I go over back over to Kate, Iris and Eddie.
Kate: What's going on?
Y/N: We've got a problem.
(Twenty minutes later)
I'm now in my suit at the Spider Cave with Kate, Ellie and Harry.
We also have Lisa Snart here.
Like El said she believes her brother has been taken.
Y/N: Alright, so you really want us to just believe that Captain Cold was kidnapped?
Lisa: I saw it happen. Last night Lenny, me and Mick were knocking over the cashier's cage at NYC Racetrack.
Kate: Does it physically pain your family not to rob people?
Lisa: I never finished the job. After Mick torched through the side entrance, I looked back for Lenny and saw him getting thrown into the back of a van.
Harry: Why didn't you and Mick follow?
Lisa: I would have. Someone hit me from behind and knocked me out. When I came to, Lenny was gone and Mick had already made off with the cash.
Kate: How do we know this isn't some kind of a trap?
Lisa: He if wanted Spider-Man dead, he'd be dead by now.
Y/N: Okay, but why should I help him?
Lisa: Because you owe him one for keeping your identity a secret.
I sigh.
Kate: I do not like her.
Ellie: Yeah, but she makes a point.
