Chapter 59: Scenes from movies

As always the last to eat, and the adorable little girl with the slow and small mouth, Kumiko grabbed the last french fries on her plate and then ran towards the living room saying she was done. Tzuyu almost jumped up from the sofa where half asleep waiting for Sana to laugh at her again as she had before her when Nayeon made a strange joke about the Alpha's long legs. But instead he raised his eyebrows in surprise and then stared at her hoping that nothing had happened to him. Jihyo pointed in Tzuyu's direction seeing how much she was shaken by the girl's scream and then joined Nayeon laughing frantically tapping her friend Beta's shoulder. Sana, despite the nagging laughter of her friends, gave a hand to Tzuyu who, confused by her, stood up with the sofa behind her to look around her in search of her danger. Sana sat her down and then turned down the volume on the television. Mrs. Minatozaki, Mr. Minatozaki's mother, smiled at the little girl who was running around the table near the sofa while jumping for joy at having finished in such a hurry, she hadn't been quick it was only her imagination, the dish her mother had forced him to eat. Unfortunately her and Sana's parents were out for a walk politely asking the older girls to keep an eye on her even though Ms. Minatozaki, Mr. Minatozaki's mother, was an eagle in these situations. Nayeon caught her as she passed by making her laugh at her sudden playful grasp. Kumiko continued to laugh because of the tickle that Jihyo gave him where from right behind her he ran his fingers on her flat and cute belly making it impossible for the little girl to stop laughing frantically. After a few seconds Nayeon put the little girl down allowing him to catch his breath and lie down on the floor next to the table. "You'll hurt her if you keep going like this. She's still a little girl, she'll end up not breathing" Sana said taking the little girl and placing her on the sofa next to her. She the latter calmed down breathing hard and holding her new silk skirt that her mother had bought him while she had been here having fun with her cousin and her kind Alpha. "You look just like her mother, killjoy," Nayeon said playfully sticking her tongue out at her friend who honestly laughed at both her and her friend's behavior as well. "Then pay him a compliment" whispered Tzuyu, "You're saying that Sana is good at taking care of and giving attention to children. Certainly you don't need a compliment because Sana is already prepared on her own, but anyway you paid him a compliment without even realizing it" she concluded sitting back comfortably on the sofa. Sana lit up her eyes again and then smiled at him. Tzuyu didn't say anything else but she turned to Mr. Minatozaki's mother looking at her as she enjoyed seeing the whole scene. "Can we see a movie?" asked the little girl patting Sana's elbow who, looking at Kumiko's immense cuteness, immediately shook her head positively without even waiting for someone to oppose her request. Kumiko raised her arms in the air as a sign of victory while the same Omega who had allowed him to see the film fixed her shirt, all wrinkled and torn by Nayeon and Jihyo. "Which film do you want to watch?" Sana asked taking the remote control and handing it to the happy little girl, "A Clockwork Orange!" she yelled getting up from the couch and seeing the first film she came across on the bar of the most viewed categories. Sana popped her eyes out of the lids to then see Tzuyu who was a bit shaken gently took back the remote, "It's not a movie for you" said the Alpha; the little girl raised her eyebrow in protest then she pouted and tried again "Why?" she asked the little girl trying to be rational for a moment, "because it's a violent film" she replied in a loud voice "So what?" she retorted against the Alpha, "So? So no movie" she concluded in a deep voice closing the television and suddenly causing the little Omega's heart to shake. "But I want to see him!" the little girl yelled as she jumped and then slammed her fists on the sofa in protest; Tzuyu stared at her angrily trying to make her understand that her actions weren't right "Are you going to be stubborn, Kumiko? I can wait all night" laughing and once again raising her voice once more seeing how the little girl tried to take the remote control. She fell to the ground and then got up and did it again wanting to understand what she could have done to be able to take that remote control. She didn't know that the movie was quite violent and sincerely she didn't even want to see it from the beginning but hearing the alarm bells she had Tzuyu hearing that title she realized that she must be a really interesting movie. But she was playing with fire and above all with Tzuyu's patience which had always been very long but in order not to find herself defeated she had to drain it and expel the authoritative anger, "Be good and choose another film this is not suitable for you" the Alpha replied rationally but the little girl did not want to hear her, "I don't care I want to see that film" she crossed her arms and then stared at her ready to drive tears from those hesitant eyes from the latter's answer. She then stood up abruptly and then approached the Alpha who, still stable in her ideas, was waiting for the Omega to change hers. The Omega tried to reach for the remote control but she was too tall and fast for her, it was like playing against a hare in the guise of a tortoise. It was more than incorrect. So he tried again to win her over with his tears ready to flow but before he could do it Tzuyu glared at her and then said in a slightly furious tone "Don't make me lose my temper Kumiko. If you want to see a film choose another one, if you are still in the opinion of seeing this film, go to your room alone" she concluded by placing her leg one on top of the other with a determined air. The little girl made her lips pout in an even stronger pout than before her "But that's not right" the little girl whispered slamming her foot. "Okay, then go to your room, now" her Alpha suddenly replied making the child tremble as she saw her get up and place the remote control on her armrest. The little girl moved away a bit from the latter and then said by sliding a small tear down her cheek to make it dry immediately from the back of her hand "I don't want to go to my room". Tzuyu sat down again looking deeply into the child's eyes and hearing more words from the latter. "So what movie do you want to see?" Tzuyu asked in a calm and firm voice. The little girl surrendered with a pout on her lips saying "I want to see me Garflied" she announced shortly after, causing Tzuyu to give him the remote back. The little girl took it and got back in her place next to Sana who, a little shocked by what had happened, gave the little girl a small smile telling him to turn the volume down. Meanwhile Kumiko had an idea in her head, but not that kind of idea that came to you by luck or to solve something, it was mostly a judgment. Hearing Tzuyu so much assertive and firm about her made her initial image of her from the Alpha comparisons a little different. Maybe it was her vibe, but he almost felt her Alpha's eyes pounce on her one last time. But the little girl didn't want to change her image and vision of her towards the latter, she had always been so sweet and kind towards her. For her, it was just a fit of anger that happened to her parents as well. But the strange look she gave him as soon as their eyes met made her judgments become too hasty: the Alpha had raised an eyebrow to see where he put his hands on that remote control and then closed his lips in approval and then put his eyes back on the little girl's face. She looked wary, almost as if she didn't trust the little girl's words. She felt a little betrayed Kumiko. She placed the remote control on Sana's legs as soon as the movie started and immersed herself in the animated cinematic of that not-so-wanted but still nice-to-see movie. Tzuyu relaxed resting her arm again on the armrest of the sofa making a small sigh for having resolved the situation before it could have caused something extremely dangerous for the eyes of the little girl to happen. She didn't want to be so harsh, but the little girl was getting insistent and as she saw her eyes fall into the first tantrum and bottomless tears she knew it was better to use her authority than hers towards Kumiko, even if it wasn't her true intention. She knew she was wrong, she could have reflected and tried to live with the little girl with the good things about her but she really wanted the little girl to learn the lesson well so that she wouldn't repeat it and could risk seeing things she shouldn't have seen at that age. Meanwhile Sana stared at Tzuyu who in her thoughts reflected whether she had done the right queue or not. The Omega, who was unfortunately between the two of hers, a little shaken turned her head towards her grandmother, Mrs. Minatozaki, who had fallen asleep in her chair as if she had been knocked down by a sleeping pill. She then took a look at her friends who, unlike her grandmother, were still perky: in fact both Jihyo and Nayeon had their phones at hand and they kept sending each other videos and messages with laughter in the background. They had fun in their own way by sending messages even referring to the scene before her and how cruel Tzuyu had been in rushing things quickly so that the child would stop. In the end the evening went like this: with Jihyo and Nayeon amusing each other making comments even out loud to annoy Sana and Tzuyu, calling them couple of the year, and with Omega's grandmother sleeping quietly on the armchair with her mouth half-closed ready to let something in if she didn't shut it, even little Kumiko joining her at the end of the evening. Sana was still standing chewing on a candy she had pulled from the pocket of her sweatshirt. Tzuyu was exhausted but to be close to Sana she could have stayed up all evening but the Omega could no longer keep her eyelids open so, before she could end up like her grandmother and her younger cousin, she said "Let's go to bed. I think it's time to sleep". He got up making grandmother wake up all of her own fault, realizing that the little girl too had fallen asleep, however, deeper than her. Nayeon and Jihyo huffed bored commenting once again that she was an annoying mom. Sana didn't hear them but she just rolled her eyes knowing how playful they were when it came to her and her behaviors. Tzuyu followed her, standing up too as if she were a small helpful robot. Sana tried to take Kumiko in her arms but Tzuyu was faster than her and took her in her arms cradling her and squeezing her towards him. "I'll take her to her room" she said, "All right. I'll take you..." Sana answered in turn, pointing to the stairs of the house. Tzuyu relaxed as she walked with Sana in front of her leading the way. Nayeon and Jihyo hurried on, also going to check on the little girl by hopping like rabbits towards the stairs. They saw the three stop in front of a door and then enter it. Jihyo was bolder and stood at the door to watch her friend Omega follow her. They saw how Tzuyu gently put the baby down and how Sana took care of taking the clothes that her parents had brought, having decided to sleep here for one night, under the constraint of Mrs. Minatozaki. Tzuyu took the girl's clothes, gently removing them without giving him a sudden wake up call and folded them diligently to then give her Omega a hand helping her to close the buttons of her pajamas. Kumiko was dressed and cleaned in less than two minutes before being tucked in thanks to Tzuyu. Kumiko opened her sleepy little eyes and then raised her hand towards Tzuyu's arm who was already deciding to leave "I'm sorry" the little girl said in a faint voice still squeezing the Alpha's arm a little and then curling up close to it, the latter having decided to stay for a while under the curious gaze not only of Sana but also of the two nosy girls. "I'm so sorry I made you angry" the little girl whispered again making it even easier for Tzuyu to forgive that sweet little girl, "You don't have to apologize. As long as you learned your lesson. Not all movies are for you, I do it for your own good not to hurt you, you know I love you" Tzuyu answered sincerely causing the little girl a tired little smile. She latched onto her arm then gave him a kiss on it, "Thank you, Tzuyu. I love you too," she said this before the dream world caught her again. Tzuyu put the blanket back well, covering her shoulders as well. She met Sana's eyes who with her hands on her lips and her shocked eyes was watching the scene like it was a movie "That was the cutest scene I've ever seen in my life" laughed and Sana removing her hands from her face. Tzuyu sighed with relief and then offered a hand to Sana to take her away from the room, "Come I want to take you to your room" she said calmly having immediately the Omega's hand, "Do you want to tuck me in like you did with Kumiko?" Sana asked, making Tzuyu even happier, but she contained herself and gave a little playful yes to Omega who, even if from her cynical look the joke was not well understood, smiled seeing how her hand matched so much Tzuyu's.
