A different Alpha

Chapter 14: An indescribable scent

She crept down the stairs as if she wanted to hide from something or someone, but the insatiable smell of coffee restored her courage. She approached the table meeting the sly smile of her friend Nayeon and that worried look of Dahyun who stared at her from head to toe seeing that she still had her Alpha sweatshirt along with white socks. Was she wrong? It was impossible, her pheromones had stirred at her delicious smell, but there was no sign of that Alpha. So she wondered if the two were impregnated by the smell of the latter, but as she understood Dahyun and Nayeon had nothing to do with it. She glanced at the table with curious and languid eyes at the same time, seeing that the same table had a bag of sushi next to her mother that she lovingly hoped to have her daughter next to her. But then the smell became stronger, the presence of this coffee gave a more than fiery color to her soul. And then her eyes surveyed the chair at the head of the table. The black backpack of the Alpha in question was there and the strong smell was being carried by it. So she without even thinking twice she bypassed her two friends and moved her absent Alpha's backpack by sitting on the chair and clutching her backpack against her chest. Her mother who was next to her in the right row of the table smiled a little worried and at the same time happy that her dear daughter had found peace. "We brought you some sushi," Dahyun said trying to force a smile while Nayeon tapped the table smiling, no longer slyly, but mischievously. "Thank you..." she whispered making her friend nod, now feeling more relieved. Her mother showed her the chopsticks she had placed on the table and the box she had pulled out of her with the logo of her favorite sushi restaurant. She took the chopsticks by placing the backpack on her lap and getting help from her mother by opening the box for him, she began to sink her chopsticks into the sushi. "Are you better than last time...?" Dahyun asked hesitantly, "Hmm... I wish this would end quickly" she concluded as she swallowed the piece of sushi she had cut in half of hers. Her throat was drier when she was in this state and her tongue mostly felt like tinfoil to her taste buds, she wanted to savor this taste as long and sweet as possible. "You have to be patient," Nayeon replied with a shrug knowing full well the same emotion her friend felt. "Tzuyu is here?" Sana asked sniffling as she placed her chopsticks on the box, "He went for a walk" her mother replied giving him a handkerchief, but as she had expected her daughter was too busy sniffing that backpack and so she handed the handkerchief next to the plastic box. "Why?" she asked putting her feet up on the chair due to the cold on the tiled floor. "You're in heat, Sana" Dahyun said reasoning, "Tzuyu thought it was better this way" commented Nayeon placing his hands on the table and filling his glass with water. "Coffee..." she whispered almost as if she didn't want anyone to hear her, it was supposed to be a secret just for her. Her feet curled up in her hatred and then she clutched her pack even tighter against her chest in a spiteful and angry way in her three o'clock direction. "Don't be a child" said her mother realizing that she would repeat her childish attitude once again, "I'm not hungry anymore" she replied with a pout, of course it determined her being sad and angry but deep down in the eyes of the three it looked like an adorable pout. "What is it now?" Nayeon asked softly pressing her hand on the frowning Omega's shoulder, "I want Tzuyu" she replied sniffing once more. Being barefoot hasn't brought her much health, as she expected. "You can't," Nayeon said closing her eyes calmly as Sana's mother looked at her with a smile on her lips, she thought that if one of her friends kept rejecting her requests she would finish asking for the smell of the Alpha. Since today, Sana has been harassing her mother for having that smell near her. Sana made a rather childish noise like a furious sigh. "You're in heat, you have to understand that," Dahyun said trying to help out with the matter. Sana didn't seem to care about the thought of her friends and when she heard her door knocking she catapulted her gaze to the latter waiting for her mother to go and open it. "Go to your room," Dahyun continued; the Omega in heat didn't even move an iota. Her mother, now having given up on this situation, got up and went to open the door. Even if at three Omega the smell didn't immediately go to the nostrils, for Sana the smell was more than impossible not to go unnoticed. Tzuyu immediately met Sana's eyes as she sat in her chair clutching her backpack. She felt a pang in her heart again but at the same time she tried to compose herself and back away slowly. "I'm staying out," she finally said as Sana's mother closed the door again, but the Omega in question didn't want to have the Alpha absent. "Tzuyu! Don't go!" she said as she stood up from the chair and left the backpack on the floor trying not to close that door. Her smell, for her, relaxed him and gave her an inner security that she felt better than she was before her scent intoxicated her nostrils. Tzuyu didn't know what to do but stand behind the half-closed door with Sana's mother being slightly moved by her daughter's hand that unconsciously clung to her chest. She didn't want to risk having another reaction to her notorious thing in his pants especially with Sana next to her, actually attached to her. She pressed all her neurons to keep her mind from thinking negative things. It took a while for Sana's weight to get off her own, the mother conscientiously pushing her daughter away holding her tightly between her shoulders so that she wouldn't move in the meantime as Tzuyu entered and took his backpack to then allow the final exit of the Alpha. "No! It doesn't suit me! I want coffee" she said like a Sana girl screaming and desperately looking for a yes from her mother, "Don't be a child! Be serious and reason..." "I don't want! At least let me have something that gives off that smell" she spoke to Tzuyu after the quick interruption she made to her mother. Tzuyu nodded quickly in the hope that if she would give the Omega what she asked for she would have the opportunity to escape into this bubble of heat and caramel scent. Sana's mother nodded telling her that she could hand him her shirt that she had just slipped out of her black backpack. It was one of those brown hoodies that had the lettering and crest of some random university that was famous enough to make room on the hoodie. It had buttons, it wasn't unique and it didn't have a zipper, it was one of those classic sweatshirts rugby players wore but the color was different and Tzuyu had never practiced rugby, so it was just a simple outfit nothing more or less, it didn't have a deep meaning but he always wore it when he went out for walks with his dog, this he usually did every day of the week for every month of the year, so the scent she was more than sure was in that sweatshirt. Sana's eyes sparkled with wonder as she grabbed the sweatshirt and pulled it to her chest with a smile on her lips. For Sana, it was unlikely to think that Tzuyu's heart was about to explode and fall into a thousand pieces, and certainly always in a good way all this. Tzuyu had had a strong shock of emotion for that gesture so stupid and silly for Sana but very important for her. Her mother looked at her both confused and satisfied, she was relieved by the fact that she would no longer hear her her daughter's moans about the fact that the old Alpha sweatshirt was tossed and that she no longer had her favorite smell of hers. Now Sana could finally breathe in her favorite aroma of hers and stuff her nose satisfactorily. Tzuyu nodded placing her hands again on her intimacy as he left the Omega's house. She didn't understand why she had come to this house from the beginning, she knew that this encounter would bring only trouble, but Sana's absence at school had brought a pain to her heart.
